* Nordica Enforcer 104 - for better carving, lots of fun, adequate float for virtually anything except Japow or AK. * Blizzard Rustler 10 - more rocker than the Enforcer 104, extremely solid underfoot. Does not launch you from one turn to the next, but still a joy to carve. * Salomon QST 99 or 106 - my most intermediate-friendly recommendation, for accessible, fun, easy balance and still plenty of power.

Looking for a ski for Snowbird/Alta

Nordica Enforcer 104 free is my vote. I bought these to fly to snowbird / Alta and use them 99% of the time. If the powder is really deep, I’ll demo wider, softer powder skis and not even notice the pain of paying over the huge grin plastered to my face of having the “misfortune” to have to rent skis for the day... anyway, I am 6’3” 175lbs and ski the 186cm version, but not close enough to you to give much guidance.

64 days skiing last season on a mix of hand-me-down, borrowed, and demo gear. I am unbelievably stoked to own my first pair of brand new skis headed into the 2021-2022 season!

Nordica Enforcer 104 Free with Tyrolia Attack 13 bindings. I was lucky enough to ski a ridiculous amount last season thanks a number of pandemic-related factors. I skied mostly backcountry, on a set of 10+ year old telemark skis borrowed from my dad (along with his boots which were 2 sizes too big).
