TOP 5 Reasons why the NUX Atlantic is right for you!

I know these aren't super exciting choices, but I am tired of flipping pedals so went with these well regarded pedals to replace my Nux Atlantic. The convenience to the dual delay/reverb Atlantic was attractive to me but I ultimately found the sounds out of it kind of basic and uninspiring. I don't get into ambient or post rock type stuff I just like some good classic sounds - the wildest I get is post-punk alternative type stuff.

 Let's go ahead and hear that with all knobs at noon. Very nice kind of warm, not too murky kind of repeats to that. Has a little bit of a warble to it. Let's see how short we can get that

 And the routing options and flexibility of it within your rig are just as amazing. You can route the delay before the reverb, the reverb before the delay, you can run them in series, you can run them in parallel, mono or stereo, plus 4 dB, minus 10 dB, flexibility.  It's very, very cool. And then the switch up top allows you to select the three different delay types on the Atlantic. Now to the reverbs, you have spring, plate and hall which you can select with the little switch right up here and there's only two knobs for this, you have the level to adjust your mix and then decay which of course is going to be how long the reverb is going to decay out. Now the cool thing for this is that there is shimmer built into not all of the modes, just one, but it's the right kind of reverb to have the shimmer effect on

In an ideal world I would love to buy the Stroymon Volante because it seems to be the ‘best’ pedal out there from my research but out of my price range . Is the Zoom 70cdr a good enough alternative ? Or are these not comparable? Is there a better option?

For background : He has a midiplus Ak490+ , a Roland tr-08 , a Juno 106 , he has a audio interface and uses Ableton. 
I want to spend around £100-200 on a pedal that he use for delay and reverb.

What is the best Pedal for electronic music production ? - Zoom ms-70cdr vs Strymon Volante

The delays are harsh and pingy for my taste. The reverb is also harsh. Not warm at all. The box itself looks to be good quality

 Now this one's blowing my mind. The NU-X Atlantic Delay and Reverb. Let's check it out. The NU-X Atlantic Delay and Reverb is a simple to use, awesome sounding delay plus reverb pedal

 On the left-hand side is the delay. A really cool delay. There's three different, three different delay modes. 60s, which is your tape style delay, 70s, which is your bucket brigade style delay, and 80s, which is the cleaner sounding digital delay

 There's an overall level of the delay knob. There's a repeats knob in the center, and there's a time knob that does double duty as a subdivision knob when you use it with the tap tempo slash delay switch. On the right-hand side is a really cool sounding reverb, and this has a spring type, a hall type, and a plate type, and you'll see an overall level and decay knob for the reverb. On the front of the pedal are two switches

I Love the Nux Atlantic Delay & Reverb Pedal!

Need a versatile reverb/delay to round out this dirty group. Any suggestions?

 Not your basic "Chi-Fi" clone.  Here's the thing, these are straight-up effects tools not a box to make alien, space sounds. Holding the foot switch down while in hall or spring mode does a nice sustain. The plate setting adds shimmer when held but it's fiddly to get the volume balanced under shimmer as it drops down significantly

 This sounds lush with delay tails under reverb. (Serial setting - delay into reverb). NUX being new to me was a concern but reviews are strong across their products. The pricing is right for what they deliver and they seem to be well made with a intelligible manual

 Reverb stays in hall picking up the delay tails. Very warm, very predictable and exactly how I use Echo/Verb.  Lots of bashing that these are Strymon clones by the design. True, they have a similar wide footprint and knurled knobs but is that a rip-off? Seems they have a serious "pro" look

The right sauce without crazy cost

My new favorite combination is the Simplifier with the NuX Atlantic - which has delay and reverb, in stereo, and tap tempo. 2 pedals, many sounds. Powered by a BigJoe Li2. Compact and versatile
