Item worked great, until it didnt.

So this is my first ever PC build I ever did. The story is that for the past 4-5 years I was actually saving up money to replace my current "sports" car for one even better. But this year I discovered that my current car will maybe get some value jumps in couple of years (long story). So I decide that i will be keeping my car and than said what the hell, why not build some sort of a gaming PC. So I was not really short on money as car I was looking for is waaay more money than one PC. I wanted to spend money on parts that I would not need to replace them in 3-4 years, and try to save some money on some, that i can replace later on, when prices drop. So here are the pictures of the build (yes my PC is under the table, but this is the only place I can have it at the moment):

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x

MB: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F

GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (paid 220€, the only one I could get ATM)

Memory: Crucial Ballistix (2x8) 16GB DDR4 3600

Storage: 1x Samsung 980 M.2 SSD NVME 500GB, 1x Samsung SSD SATA 3 1TB

CPU Cooling: BeQuiet Dark Rock 4

This was such a journey to learn new things about PC in general. I also calmed down a kid in me as a really love to build things on my own. I already started to annoy my friend that they need a new PC and that I would love to build them one hehe

So yeah, learned a LOT in this past 6 months, discovered Reddid in the proces and this SubReddit which was a HUGE help all along. Hope to build some high end computers in the future!

PS: Does anyone knows how to completely turn off LED on mobo. There is a light on it that even when i turn off my PC, it is still on. Have to switch I/O switch on PSU to turn it off.

After a long wait it is DONE!

 I chose ASUS because of my past experience and I am using an ASUS motherboard and know there won't by any compatibility problems using a GTX 1050 Ti ASUS card. I was afraid that at this low price I was going to get a dog of a graphics card even though I don't need a fast GPU for my home computer.  This card does a fantastic job for the price. I ran some GPU performance tests and very surprised how well this card ran

Performance, battery life, build, form - heard that 2-in-1 is not as good as 1 or the other
How important is weight and thinness to you?
Weight - moderately important. I am currently using a 3 lb chromebook (couldn't afford a new laptop when old one died 2 years ago), so anything more will feel heavy at first, but if it has all the features I want, it will be worth it. Thinness not that important.
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
I feel like screen size, weight, and battery are a balancing act. I want a larger screen than my chromebook, but I want something not too much trouble to travel with, so... 14-15?
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?
No specific games. I am just interested in trying out games, and don't want to be too limited, but I know I am not willing to pay enough to play the most intensive games. (My niece is a big gamer, who is trying to reel me in, and said not to go too low, LOL.)
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
I definitely want a backlit keyboard. I have been surprised that many machines I have looked at fit all my requirements EXCEPT having a front facing camera, and I want to also use it for zooming with remote friends and fam.
Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.
Basically, I want to find the balance between good performance and battery life & weight. That's not so easy, as I have found.

A hard minimum of 60 FPS.

Hello, I am currently on my last year of school and will be going to an university, and looking for a laptop under the price of 1500$, I’ve had a lot of issues with my current pc while playing on it and iv’e honestly have had enough of it (shutting down mid game, lag, freezes etc...) I want a pc than could handle any type of new game specially the big ones such as cyberpunk and everything that goes with it. Iv’e looked around for a while and everyone was talking about the Predator Helios 300, but I would like to ask you guys if you have anything else in mind that could help me finally enjoy the games?

I want a pc than could handle any type of new game specially the big ones such as cyberpunk and everything that goes with it. Iv’e looked around for a while and everyone was talking about the Predator Helios 300, but I would like to ask you guys if you have anything else in mind that could help me finally enjoy the games?
