(motherboard is a model DQ67SW running on version SWQ6710H.86A.0055.2011.0921.1044). (Processor i'm trying to install is an i5-3470 (3.2Ghz) , idk if thats good or what but it's better than the i3 that came in my pc when i bought it so ill take that lol). (Graphics card, probably not needed in this situation but its a Nvidia 1050-ti).

* GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Max-Q. * RAM: 16GB DDR4/2,666MHz. Looking at getting an external eGPU and have my eyes on the Blackbeast pro when it becomes available, I know these systems can be problematic but the blackbeast is supposed to come rated for the higher throughput of data that has been the bottleneck so hopeful.

Is the GTX 1050 Ti ANY Good in 2021?
So it's not surprising that it's not really cutting the mustard and once again taking a look at the steam hardware survey in the past month, or so we see a sharp drop-off in people using 1050 ti's and that's likely due to the fact that it can't really Cut it on modern, aaa games now, like i just mentioned before, if you're gon na play older titles, it's perfectly fine.

Am not AMD user (I have Intel CPU and nvidia GPU in my desktop), and my system is somewhat older (2017, Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro, Kingston 64GB Ram, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2), and is dual boot (win10 + Linux Mint, was 18 when desktop was new, today is LM 20.1), but I as well had several attempts back then, and it all boiled down how OSes (Win and Linux) mixed up boot.... ultimately, I had to DISABLE all "legacy" boot things and secure boot, and made my Motherboard EFI only, and from that point on, Windows and Linux did behave well. For example, I have 2 daisy chained monitors (mDP + MST) as well, and I noticed that in "legacy" or "efi" bios boot modes they behaved completely different.... (in legacy 2nd monitor did not wake up only at the point when OS did start and pinged it, in EFI mode both monitor did wake up immediately and were mirrored until OS booted up, and set up two screens). And so on. Basically, try your setup re motherboard to make as conservative as possible, AND go for 100% EFI mode (disable if possibly any "legacy" support, that just makes installers confused).
For graphics, your system has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Is it worth just upgrading this pc more or should I just go for a new one?. The games I play are diablo2reserrected, valorant, path of exile and Stellaris but I would like to get Elden ring. The PCGameBenchmark gave my computer a 47% rating.

I got the video card from a friend so that's one thing I wouldn't need to buy at least. Would it be better to wait until November for Black Friday/ect sales?.
I pulled the GPU out and saw moulds or fungus whatever it was on the back of the gpu so I cleaned the GPU with Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and then replugged it in. Same story, it doesn’t work. I have tried this GPU in other computer too, same problem. Whichever I computer I plus the GPU in, doesn’t turn on.
