It's 10 p.m. Already and I'm making a Sunday video But anyways, this is a phantom gain ward actually gain ward Phantom GTX 770 and it might look familiar for some of you because it's exactly the same cooler at least design wise as my GTX 780 Ti so yeah, it's it's a phantom because I guess you can't see the fan So the fans are ghosts

 It tends to stutter in all of the games Aside from pubg they did some magic there Anyways, as you can see it drops into the 40s around here This is not like the extremely low memory mode or anything. It's just a normal game So if you wanted more fps and still play at the 1080p resolution, you could still have it by playing with the other modes Uh, but hey, yeah, this is playable for arc survival evolved now. Let's get to the real deal in this game Where is the poop? Where does the poop come from even like I don't see it This is so interesting pick up I can pick that up All right. Excellent product. Really helped the speed of my geriatric Mac Pro, and not just the video rendering but the overall speed of the processes. My only complaints -- and they're very slight -- are that the installation isn't plug-and-play (requires the installation of a driver before installing the card) and that it interrupts the normal display (you don't get the little gray apple on startup). But once started, everything presents normally and works quite fast

 The game does generally favour Nvidia cards anyway, so it's not uncommon to see better performance than you may immediately expect, even with older cards like this. It's easy to assume that the 770's age can be mostly associated with its problems, but it is still one of the more capable 2GB cards available, and it is still supported by the latest driver updates. We're at a time when 4GB seems to be the entry point to aim for as far as graphics cards are concerned, and with so called entry level cards such as the 1650 and 5500 XT following this trend, it's quite clear that the days of 2GB cards are done. Some may even argue that 4GB isn't enough, but as a person focused more on budget tech, I wouldn't agree with such statements at this point in time

 The 1.1% lows were also quite respectable, so there weren't any unwanted lag spikes or horrible stutters to speak of here. Having said that, we are of course relying on 900p once again in order to avoid that VRAM limit, causing issues at full HD. The GTX 770 still seems like an okay card for 900p gaming, but it's also important to remember and consider how future drivers will impact further performance as it becomes less of a priority for Nvidia

 Without tweaking it manually, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good example of how a VRAM limitation can ruin your experience from the beginning. 1080p will be problematic from the in-game menu, and tweaks will have to be made from within the Rockstar Games documents file on your PC instead. Even so, choosing anything other than 720p will prove problematic as even 1280x720 will give our card grief. The capture device even complained of a low detected framerate and started chugging, hence the freezes every so often

 Nvidia GeForce Experience software allows custom lighting, easy driver updates, and "ShadowPlay" to record and upload videos to Twitch. Overall best looking GTX 770 model and design with Titan cooler in my humble opinion. Additionally, designed by the Nvidia team - they didn't cut corners. The card was made to last and feels solid

 Nothing touches it. I mean, you've seen from these graphs, nothing's even close except the GTX 780 and the GTX 780 costs significantly less than a GTX Titan. So would I go for the GTX 770 or would I pony up for a GTX 780? I think I would personally probably save my pennies and go for the 780. I wouldn't jump all the way up to the Titan because you can see for that extra money you're spending, you're not getting that much more of a performance increase

But that's that sweet spot right there that the 780 hits. Then if I didn't get a 780, I might run around and look for maybe a hot deal on a 670 or a 660 Ti that's quite overclockable or something along those lines if I didn't want to spend that much and save myself a few bucks

 It is an updated graphics card. So what they've done is they've taken a full-fledged GK104 GPU, just like you find on the GTX 680, paired that with 7 gigabit per second, so 7 gigahertz GDDR5 memory, so faster memory, and then they've added some new technology. GPU Boost 2.0, the updated cooler as you've already seen, as well as their new fan profile that makes the card quieter while running cool due to GPU Boost 2
