 Consumption is also right around where you'd expect for that listed board power as well total system power at the wall was just 319 watts and that's alongside an overclocked 10 900k. The biggest question that most of you probably have now, though, is if this is the 3060 ti where's the regular non-ti 3064 cheaper, and there's no news on that just yet, but you can only assume that nvidia will have one currently in the works. After all, how long can a 3060 ti exist without a regular 30 60? Buy it side? Surely that would be confusing for consumers. So if you are still holding out for a more affordable option, say around the 300 price point waiting an extra month or two might be something to consider for a slightly cheaper alternative

 But in this example, the 360 ti is almost 19 faster, so it'll be interesting to see what amd's eventual answer to this gpu is their cheapest card at the moment is the rx 6800, which i've yet to do a full review on, but it is incredibly quick For 579 dollars, but that's quite a big leap versus the 3060 ti and not really comparable and another comparison here versus the previous generation 400 gpu from nvidia the rtx 2060 super in rainbow six siege running maxed out at 4k. I found the 3060 ti to be almost 40 percent faster, which is a huge generational leap. Now i don't anticipate that many of you will be playing this game at 4k resolution, but those performance gains translate well into 1440p as well. There there's a 37 jump in performance versus the 2060 super, with the 3060 ti now averaging 230 fps at 1440p

 The 3060 ti is 25 faster. Demanding games like this at 4k really will test this gpu, though, for the most part, you will get more than playable frame rates, but, as we'll see, 1440p resolution is really where this gpu shines. Nvidia, we're also very careful not to compete too hard against their own car, the rtx 3070, although in some games it is pretty damn close. Considering the 100 price difference in the new assassin's creed valhalla, there was just an 8 difference between them at 1440p on average

 Stranding shows your current 400 to 600 gpu options with enough cash separating each one that, in my opinion, any of these three gpus are worth picking up. In this example, death stranding is running at 4k. Max settings we've got the 3060 ti averaging 64 fps, the 30 70 averaging 73 fps and the 6800 averaging 84 fps. If you are one of the few gamers using a 4k monitor or perhaps a high resolution ultra wide, i would steer you in the direction of those last two and also the rtx 3080

Should I buy this for high FPS 1080/1440P gaming? I’m not techie enough to assemble a PC myself. Thoughts?

This card definitely has a premium on it but so far I'm impressed with it's thermals and responsiveness with my gaming and rendering applications I have to use for school. I would maybe try to get a EVGA next time but they are harder to come by for sure.

It sometimes falls to about eight and a half percent. Eight percent in 1080p, at 144k you're, looking at 11 to 15 on average for the 30 70 versus the 360 ti. Is that worth 100? It'S up to you probably not, but especially because you can overclock it in in cases where roc was stable, because uh we saw uplift of you know eight ten percent in some of the higher end scenarios, you're encroaching on 30 70 territory anyway and yes, you can Overclock, the 30-72 in response to that and maintain the distance, but if you're going for 30-70 baseline stock performance, you can get that pretty close to it anyway, with the 3060 ti, not quite, but it's close enough now for ray tracing

 We always start with a frequency plot to validate that the devices we're testing are working properly. We'Re looping a 3d mark frame on repeat to test the frequency response for this. One ideally you'd see a flat line, but that's not really what we encounter in the real world. Typically, you get a flat line when you've got a high-end, air cooler or more likely, a liquid cooler and boosted power targets with that in this chart

 It fell to 1860 to 1890 megahertz after a few minutes, and we found that a range of 2040 to 2085 megahertz was possible to run and appeared stable, including a 1200 megahertz memory offset. But technically it offered no improvement over the 1 000 megahertz memory. Offset of the previous run 7314 points over 6709 means a nine percent performance uplift in this rt heavy benchmark power was still the primary limiter as expected, and this is where partner cards could potentially offer an advantage. The memory on the 3060 ti for our overclocking, though, was ridiculous

It’s a 3060 ti but it’s almost 90 dollars more expensive than what you can get for a $400 founders edition 3060 ti. The RGB is a little redundant in my opinion. Other than that, solid performance, cooling, and noise level.
