 This is the unit that goes in, your plunger. This is the auger unit that pushes everything through either the screen, which is the screening unit right here, or a blank template, which is part of the reason why I purchased this over some of the other vertical units is that it comes with this. So you can put frozen fruits in here and you can mash them up, or you can even make pasta. They have a few different extruders here for this, so this one's like angel hair pasta

 I've tried using measuring cups, but then this pushes this out and then sometimes the pulp will actually fall back into here, which is really bad. That's the point of juicing is not having the pulp at this time. And yeah, so this is something that could use a little bit of work and I don't know how you really do that. You'd have to make this longer, which really wouldn't benefit anybody

 You can rotate these in and out, which makes it a lot easier because this is specially designed. It kind of makes it hard. So some advantages and some cons. The big advantage and still the reason why I got this is just how easy it is to clean

 I tried the same apples in this machine here. I bought them from the same store, same apples, same brand, everything, and it tasted horrible still. And I was just, I was kind of surprised by that, to tell you the truth, but for some reason with the way this works, it just does not get the same quality out of the juice that this does. Totally not new to this sub, I’ve posted many juices/juice recipes. However, my cheap Amazon baggotte juicer finally shit the bed. 

I now would like to invest in something (price not being an issue) that will get better yield results from kale and other leafy greens. Bonus points for a citrus attachment (not a big deal if not) I am thinking masticating because I want a bigger yield. My last juicer was super easy to clean so I would like one that’s possibly easy-ish to clean and reassemble....all suggestions and comments welcome please!!!!

Juicer Recommendations

This is def not a good match with pure celery and soft fruits. I still had to put back the pulps so it generated more juices. It’s not easy to clean, it annoys me so much just to clean the small drainer. The good thing is this can be put into the dish washer, however there are still some parts need to be cleaned by hand

I am looking to purchase a juicer so i can start juicing as part of my daily routine. I am currently looking at the (Breville BJS700SIL Big Squeeze Slow Juicer) on amazon. But wanted to know if anyone recommended a juicer that may be better or preferred. 

Currently to my knowledge the slow jusicers are better than the centrifugal models because you can get more vitamins and etc out of the [food](https://food.so).  But please correct me if i am wrong.

Need help / advice /Recommendations about a Juicier or finding a good one.

I love this machine but the shipping was bad

 When we throw it away, we used to put it in one of those flimsy bags that came with the veggies (the pulp will stink up your trash very fast otherwise), but now we found an even better solution: dog poop bags! I use one and get it to stay on the juicer with one of those thick rubber bands that came with the veggies - see the uploaded picture. So now everything dumps directly in the bag, no mess to clean, no smell in the trash!

  The Omega is a slow juicer. It will definitely take longer to do the same juice as with the centrifugal one. BUT, this is better! Less oxidation, but most importantly, the juice has much much better taste! We did a test: we juiced the same quantity in both and compared the result. We juiced same quantity of carrots, red cabbage and apples

 I started my Paleo lifestyle 3 months before we got this juicer (so 6 months ago). When I got the juicer I decided to replace 2 meals a day with juice. So I have a pretty large juice in the morning (again, only veggies, and mostly avoiding root vegetables) and one at lunch (I work very close to home and I can go and make a fresh juice during lunch). Since I started Paleo I lost 45 pounds, 35 since i bought this juicer! I have so much freaking energy too!  I never believed we would get so enthused about this juicer

Brought back the fun in juicing!

 The package comes with a horse-sized toothbrush for scrubbing the innards (note to self-get some more toothbrushes and toothpaste for our daughter's Shetland pony). For this price, you'd think they would make the parts with better, dishwasher-safe plastic! But, despite the parts not all that hard to hand wash, I am pretty lazy and would rather just toss them in the dishwasher along with everything else. For this, minus one star!  ---It doesn't do a great job with softer, less-fibrous items, such as lemons, softer varieties of cucumbers and pineapple. As a result sometimes the mush backs up to the top of the feeding tube

  Cons:  --Not dishwasher safe! This is my chief complaint. There are 7 parts to hand wash, and I admit it is not too hard and only takes perhaps 5 minutes.
