The wide, teardrop-shaped handles have a small but useful design feature: a channel that helped testers form an easy, comfortable grip. The dinner fork is quite large, and the utensils were the heaviest in our lineup. The teaspoon, however, was relatively small. A few people found the set a little tiring to use, but most liked the substantial weight. The utensils are fairly well-balanced, and testers were impressed that the knives “cut right through” steak. It’s made from 18/0 stainless steel, which may not hold up as well over time as sets made from 18/10 stainless steel.

 the knife is again just really elegant, not over-the-top you know, really really nice weight to it. The dinner fork I thought was kind of a little bit big, but I do really like it a lot and this is the size comparison. This is the serving fork and that's the dinner fork so you can see there's a size difference and you know the shape. It's a little bit different but the bottom is the same which is nice

 I don't think I'm gonna keep this out for daily use but I might I don't know because I have so much of it. and then here is the teaspoon which I have tons of apparently. and here is the dinner spoon or I guess you could say soup spoon sort of what size it is. and then here's the serving spoon and the comparison in size you can see and that's the smaller one there

 So what you have here and let me tell you, if you are interested in this pattern and thinking about it, it's awesome I haven't eaten with it yet, but I love how it feels. It is so comfortable. All of the reviews are spot-on I mean there's so many good reviews for this pattern on online and it just feels really nice. It's substantial, but it's still kind of elegant and it is I think it makes a statement, but it's not pretentious

I like the silverware. Good weight. Good quality. But did no one check the balance before putting these into production? Almost every time I use these, the silverware falls off the plate because the top is so heavy

 The weight and luster are such that you might expect it to be formal flatware. There are a couple things you should know, though:  1. With respect to the weight/balance, you might want to think about the plates and bowls that you intend to use them with -- for example, we use the small spoons with small rice bowls from Crate & Barrel and have to be mindful of how the spoon rests so that it doesn't fall backward out of the bowl. Not a fault of the flatware, just be mindful and plan accordingly

 After the first hand wash and while drying on the counter, rust spots appeared on several of the items after 1-2 hours of drying with a little water on them.  My 20-year old Oneida set NEVER had rust spots.  These new sets are using hugely inferior materials, possibly a thin stainless coating on top of cheap metal below. And they charge the same prices as always

Ok yes, these will dive off your dish if they are larger than you plate (or if you're using a shallow bowl) particularly if you are balancing on your lap or eating on the couch like we do (I know, we're barbarians).  When I compared the feel of these utensils to others, the balance handling were unmatched, your thumbs rest smoothly within the embedded crevice of the utensils allowing for a comfortable and natural feel. I love how the forks and spoons have a nice dip to them. These are thick utensils, very impressive, Oneida Voss's are beautifully designed!

I got this for my parents for a Christmas present. I actually went into Bed Bath and Beyond and they didn't have it, only the demo.
