Again another I can live with it, downgrade. Processor/RAM, I'm a general purpose phone user I don't game on it, the Pixel 5 in my basic side by side was slightly and I mean ever so slightly faster (not even a second) in general use. I think they balanced the slower processor and the ram well but it's not an upgrade in my opinion. So far, it's mainly miniscule downgrades that I'm seeing in my new phone that I've tied myself to a contract of 2 years for, already I'm starting to question my decision, even with the free pair of Bose headphones.

Its extra camera feels largely unnecessary, its higher refresh rate display offers only a marginal benefit, and the update to Android 11 delivers only small tweaks to the experience. The numbers are all bigger, but the real-world improvements are incremental. The exception to this is the OnePlus 8T’s 65W fast charging, which offers a substantial improvement over what came before

OnePlus 8t: 40499₹ (554$). As my phone is *mostly* in a case I’d have sprung for the S20FE or the S20+ as Samsung’s UI doesn’t bother me, but I’m concerned about the longevity of the phone as we get Exynos 990 in India.

It has the reasonable price, long battery life, and solid zoom camera that most people want, and it's rife with trade-ins and sales that can make it an even better deal than its list price. The OnePlus 8T is a solid Android phone with a terrific software experience and the fastest charging we've seen.

OnePlus 8T. My current phone is an LG G8, and I hate the bloatware and crazy bugginess. I want to get something that'll just work better and be more stable. The OnePlus looks awesome, but after hearing a lot about poor update stability and long-term bugginess, I'm probably not going to go with it.

The device heats up a little too much for our taste and its stereo speakers only offer average sound quality. The Wi-Fi isn't quite as fast as on other Wi-Fi 6 devices. Users will also have to make do without wireless charging or an IP certification

I feel like the 12 GB RAM is overkill on the 8T. Whatever i get will be used for 2 to 3 years. I create content as a musician and found the pixel to record better than the Oneplus and i take a good amount of photos. I also edit videos on my phone.
