 So what I decided to do is actually get these Klipsch speakers, I have these 2 corner speakers which are going to end up on these large pillars here, as you can see I have these corner pieces that are mounted that the prior owner had set up so I'll be able to mount those there, run speaker wire and power them off of the receiver and then I'll have these 2 bookshelf speakers which I have connected to this 55 inch TV and I typically could use this either when like doing workouts, things like that, just like follow along videos or if someone wants to be out here playing video games sometimes we'll do like retro gaming parties and events and we'll hook up like TVs and stuff so people can play. So overall I really wanted this receiver for some good sound coming off of the TV as well as the ability to have music that could fill the space, whether it be working out, a party, anything like that. So going through the receiver you have your power button here, you have your output here for phones, you've got your input selection, you have your bass so easy enough to just basically increase or decrease all these, trouble, balance and then you can switch between what's considered a speaker mode of A or B. So this actually has combinations so I'm going to go ahead and power this on and you can see by default we have volume, it's very easy to just move this up or down

 So I actually decided to pick this up, I have a Sony receiver in one of the other rooms I have here in my house and the reason I decided to go with this particular 2 channel receiver is I really wanted something that wasn't going to be necessarily utilized for surround sound but had the capability of hooking up at least 4 speakers. So let me kind of show you the layout of this particular space, this is actually a very large 4 car garage that I have here in my property and last year we actually had several parties in this space, we had like a Halloween party, we did a Christmas party and I had these 2 standing speakers here and what was really happening was these have like a wireless mode where you can sync them and what was more or less happening is those would desync and it was just very problematic, wasn't very reliable, I couldn't really put these in a place where I thought it would really fill the room with sound. Help with Turntable Setup

 (In my googling I'm finding some reports that "amps hum," but no amp I've had in my living room has ever sounded like this.)

First, I was looking for an affordable receiver/amp to replace mine which had died. I was used to a 5.1 system that sounded great, but was willing to go down to 2 channel because, how bad could it be? My verdict on that is not to do it unless you add a powered subwoofer, which I don't own. (With just 2 speakers I am not happy with the sound

I have an extra pair of Elac Debut Reference bookshelf speakers that I want to build a small bookshelf system with for an office setup for music streaming. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive (\~$300) integrated amp/DAC that can power these speakers with a digital/coax input to connect a wifi streaming device? 

My main system includes the PS Audio Sprout, Fluance RT85 turntable and KEF LS50 meta speakers with SVS sub. I have a Chromecast audio ( which has been discontinued) connected to the Sprout's digital input for streaming. It sounds great as a main system, but I was thinking about getting an inexpensive integrated tube amp for a more warmer sound that I can connect to the optical or coax out of streaming device, like the Wiim Mini Airplay 2 Music Streamer or equivalent.

Help with budget setup, preferably tube amp

I have this running a pair of small Boston speakers and you really need to turn up the volume to get some good sound. Also, it only adjusts bass and treble. This would be good in a bedroom.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a new amp to fire my speakers. Right now i'm using an old Sony ta Fe 675, but I want a new modern device. 

I own the q acoustics 3020i and am very happy with them. I narrowed my decision down to the axr100 and the pm6007, because they both have a digital section and a pre out for a subwoofer. I don't Plan on buying a aubwoofer right now,but I like that I have the Option with these 2 amps. 

Which one would be more suited for my speakers? My room ist not that big. 15m2. The speakers stand 30cm from the Wall on the official stands.

Cambridge Audio axr100 or Marantz PM 6007 for q acoustics 3020i?

 Throughout its entire life, with both relays, the unit would audibly click when the dynamics of a song drastically changed, which was quite annoying and alarming. If you do a deep dive online, there seems to be a general consensus that nearly all Onkyo receivers suffer from relay problems these days, including perpetual clicking and short life spans. For this kind of money, I expect a receiver to be far more durable with a much longer life span, and recently upgraded to a Yamaha RN303 that I hope will prove a wiser investment.

It pains me to write a negative review of this Onkyo receiver, because I loved the rich sound during its brief life, but having lived with it for two years as an avid music lover, I want to warn others that it has a fatal flaw and that your money is best spent elsewhere. I spent several days researching stereo receivers in May 2018 before purchasing this one, as it seemed to check all the boxes: bright clarity, good power, dynamic range for vinyl, easy Bluetooth connectivity, reputable brand name, all at a reasonable price point ($200-$250). Within six months, however, the relay burned out, in a smoke-free home where I treated it with the utmost care and was sure to never block/cover its case vents. After sending the unit to an authorized Onkyo repair shop, the unit was returned in working order, only to have this second relay burn up just beyond the two-year mark when it was no longer under warranty

for a small music room!

I have a sneaky feeling this receiver deserves 5 stars. I'll give it 4 until I use it awhile. The sound is awesome. Clear highs without tinny sound, comfortable mid sounds, and just enough deep bass to get my Klipsch desktop speakers to purr like a cat
