 Time will tell if these batteries work well.  My first negative impressions include the cheap container that houses the batteries. As others have said, I don’t expect it to hold up very well. It’s cheap, thin plastic where the ‘locking’ hinges already show wear and look like they are ready to fail

 Part of the bottom edge of each battery is damaged, essentially chewed up, from their process of inserting the batteries into the charger. I hope this doesn’t impact use of either these four batteries or the charger but their packaging process and quality control definitely needs to be corrected. IMO, Panasonic should replace these items for each customer who received their purchase this way. Batteries and charger

 A Ni-MH rechargeable D cell battery can have a capacity of 10000mAh or more. I bought the EBL-906 universal charger and EBL D cell batteries (10000mAh). My fan runs five times longer with them than with the eneloop AA’s in D spacers.

This is a fine product for those who need AA and AAA rechargeable batteries and there are many informative reviews here that can provide the specifics of why. I just want to clarify one thing for those who plan on using these batteries for things that require C or D cell batteries. While they work fine for flashlights and the like, which are on for shorter periods and do not draw much power, they won’t serve you well for things that draw more power and generally run for longer periods, like C or D cell powered fans and motorized toys.  I tried the eneloop D spacers in my personal camp fan, which requires two D cells

Overall, these are worth the initial investment if for no other reason than to reduce the negative environmental impact of disposable batteries. They will save you money in the long run, and are a simple, easy replacement to the batteries you normally use

  The biggest thing that I don’t see a value in is the case. I feel like these are already expensive, and I think you pay extra for the case. However, it’s kind of like you either buy a gazillion batteries with no charger (I needed this as I lost mine) or you buy this expensive set where you pay for a case that I am throwing away (yes I know you can piece a set together but then you are definitely paying more). I just think I’d rather save a few bucks and have no case

 none were standouts as exceptional---BUT eneloops are supposed to be able to be recharged more times-- who knows. eneloop has multiple good reviews on other sites so i will use them and see. the mAh is high on these but they lasted no longer than the other lower mAh levels i tested. i just like backup batteries so i am pleased so far

i received all items offered-- 4 AA, 4AAA, 3 C and 2D adapter battery holders and the fitted blue case to store them in -- and a 4 battery charger for 110 volt USA wall sockets. the batteries were supposed to be charged at receipt and they had --some-- charge but i fully charged them in about 4 hours per 4 batteries-- stored 4 of them to test in 1 month and used 4 of them to test against my other Duracell-Energizer-Ray-o-vac rechargeables. they all seemed to be comparable as to life expectancy-- put in identical flash lights and left them on til dead. order of 'death!'= ROV 1st, Energizer 2nd, eneloop and Duracell a close 3rd/4th

 the mAh is high on these but they lasted no longer than the other lower mAh levels i tested. i just like backup batteries so i am pleased so far. rechargeables use a lot of advertising HYPE-- but they seem to slowly be getting better--and more expensive!!

 The hinge is good, but the clasps are 'living' and will eventually wear out. The worst part, I think, is the insert: it's very thin plastic which I feel sure will quickly wear out; another $1-2 would be well worthwhile for a better insert.  I personally don't have any use for the C and D adapters, so those went to the kitchen junk drawer and I put some Eneloops I already owned in those slots. The C slots will fit 5x AAA batteries, the D slots will fit 4x AA batteries

Good batteries, decent charger, case is lacking

 The house charger gets lots more use, and recently I had noticed when charging with the house charger, the light would stay on after other batteries were charged, indicating a bad battery. So I discarded the "bad" battery each time and replaced it. Then I noticed that it was always the same port that had the bad battery, so I assume now that there is an issue with the charger. So if you see this going on, pay attention, and don't ruin more batteries after you see the issue
