"Smash" is a mechanical pencil for general use, incorporating the good side of mechanical pencil for drafting. The grip is made of brass, it has become a matte texture by the unique baking paint. The length of the pipe of pen tip is 0.16 inch, it is longer than that of general mechanical pencil, it becomes easier to see the characters you write. Also, it has been made strong so that you can use in tough. The mouthpiece of pen tip and the grip has integrated, you can write stably without mouthpiece being loose. The center of gravity is made in a position close to the pen tip, stability has become higher. Also, trade mark of "Smash" is three-dimentional rubber ribs on the grip. When you hold it, one by one of the small rubber catches your hand, fit firmly in your hand, you can write without slipping. Knock part has become a bellows-like, there is a presence when you press. In addition, the "Smash" has a window that displays the hardness of the core, you can enjoy the changeover such as H, B and so on.

Started a job where I use a mechanical pencil all day, what do I need to know?

 Underneath, there is a standard Pentel drafting eraser after taking it off, which is very nice to use. Surprisingly, the pencil doesn't clack when erasing, which is very nice.  The grip is really weird. You would expect each one to be a hard and resistant nub of rubber, but it is much different than that

This is a weird pencil.  It comes with 6 pieces of HB lead, which is honestly a bit too much. It is most likely Pentel's Super Hi-Polymer lead, which is a nice overall lead that is really easy to get a hold of. A bit scratchy to write with though

 Not only this, if you do not press it down all of the way, the lead will simply not extend. Even doing it normally sometimes doesn't extend the lead, which is extremely annoying. I hope I only got a defective one, because its pretty annoying. The mechanism itself is brass, and not plastic

  The result is an easy grip that doesn't lead to sliding (such as on those pencils with uniformly ridged metal barrel grips) or shifting, because the nubs help to offer a custom set of pressure points under your grip of the barrel without being too stiff or slippery.  The end result is that I can use this pencil for long periods of time without fatigue and maintaining the same level of comfort as when I first picked it up. As a bonus, the clip does not touch my hand when rotating the pencil to get a sharper side of the lead - so, that also helps maintain comfort when using the pencil for longer periods of time.  Although light, it's still well-balanced

It almost feels as if the nubs individually move to adjust better with your grip, but I suspect that it's merely their medium softness allowing for them to conform with areas on which you are pressing. At first it felt odd, soon it felt perfect

 As long as you take care of the tip and don't drop it and abuse it this thing can outlive you! I highly recommend it to anyone that does a lot of writing/math/sketching on a daily basis.
