Pilot Hi-Tec-C

Outstanding service. Apologies for the messy tablecloth , had been potting on seedlings. I've been wanting to try out the Pilot Hi-Tec C and the Coleto series for a while, and had heard good things about the jetstream pens too. Must say i'm impressed.

Not sure if this is original or not.. i am seeing a lot of differences from the current one i have. However, when i used it, it looks kinda the same.. still good

They're not particularly smooth except on really good paper, and the smaller tips are less smooth than larger ones. Gel rollers are generally smoother than rollerballs and require only a little pressure to use. Again, though, smaller tip sizes are going to be less smooth than larger ones. Take a look at Pilot Hi-Tec C gel pens: they're about the same size as a Bic Cristal ballpoint, but require a lot less pressure.

Pilot pens that feature the needle-tips are definitely worth exploring as far as gel pens go. You can try the Pilot Precise series which has the .5mm needle-tip or the Pilot Hi-Tec-C series which range from .4mm all the way down to .25mm in needle-tips. The Pentel Energels are also well loved by gel pen users and come in a .3mm needle tip.

These are my favorite pens ever so I was disappointed when I discovered the pen had a broken tip and made the pen defective and unusable.

What I've found is that the Pilot Hi Tec-C are what works best for me. At the smallest (.25) nothing comes close to those things lines.

I need a pen that does not leak through the paper that has a very fine point. A friend that manages an office bought them and game one that worked great. I then ordered a pack through Amazon and was concerned since the order was coming from China that it would take a long time to arrive. Amazing how...

For the past 2 years, I have used Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica pens and G-Tec-C pens. However, my main issue with BOTH pens is that many always arrive defective. They seem to have bad QA and this can be confirmed by reading 1-star amazon reviews. I'm reaching the point where my functioning pens are almost out of ink, so I need to restock and buy new ones.
