 So, even though they claim to be on all monitors and they're, probably be fine for surround sound actual monitors where I'm planning on putting them. Eventually they work here. In fact, there was a point, and I'm not joking. Ladies and gentleman, where I had these crests cradled in my arms, like a set of babies like the 10 commandments like this, and I was listening to music and happy as a pig in these - are amazing speakers, and I must be out of my mind - god, damn It on my face now they have a couple design flaws, I'll, say off the bat like these banana plugs

  If you’ve ever used any kind of hifi equipment and developed any kind of appreciation for it, you won’t be happy with these for music - even in a small office space like I was hoping to. On goes the search..

 Highs are shrill and lows are nonexistent. They are not capable of producing bass of any quantity, presumably due to the small drivers and shallow depth, but I guess I expected more based on the glowing reviews here. I powered them with a Sonos Amp playing 320kbps audio and detail was obviously lost - they simply weren’t capable of reproducing notes I’m very familiar with in some of my favorite test songs. I switched the cable right back to a 20 year old set of Mission bookshelf speakers (m71i) that anyone can buy on eBay for a hundred bucks and the mid and low end richness immediately returned to the song

 Yes, they can be used as bookshelf speakers. Just don't expect a lot of bass, they're some bass, light and clear kind of bass, which i like them like that. Sometimes i do have polk 10 inches powered subwoofer goes with them, but sometimes i don't feel like heavy bass, so the sub turned off just give them a few weeks of listening for them to break in [ Music ]. This review is based on these being used for, surround, use only atmos front, specifically these work

 You can't beat these as improvised atmos speakers give them a shot, [ Music ]. As for more details continue reading, my system is a five one: two system where i used htd level threes for the fronts in the infiniti primus p163 for the two surrounds a rhythmic lv12r for my sub, and i added a pair of the owm3 as my five One two atmos speakers tilted just slightly on top of my speaker, so the sound reflects off my roof in front of my ears more or less. I had zero expectations before setting up just due to these, not being atmos speakers and the install being improvised at best. I set crossovers to 200 htz, which lets my better more expensive front

2, Surround - B6.2, Rear- OW4.2,  Height - Polk audio OWM3(x4), Sub - HSU Vtf2 Mk5 (x2).

Reciever - Denon x3700h, 5 channel amp - OSDXA5180, Blu ray player - Panasonic ub820, Streamer - Fire cube.

I know some don't care for my setup, but looks aren't everything... It sounds amazing to me! Made a few tweaks, and it is about as much as I can do in the space. Next upgrade will be an OLED and a new couch! Specs in comment.

 I think there's only one it doesn't come with, but yeah so you've got here vertical wall mount which I think just does bikie holes on the back. I was onto the wall mount also by key hold a shelf mount. So it's a little stand that goes on the bottom and this is an articulating one which they don't supply. This particular bracket, angled wall, mount again, probably by keyholes and say, call them out and a horizontal shelf mount

 Like I say, the odo wm5 has two four and a half inch drivers in it as well. The other thing to mention is: it was great, binding, pros, clear, very, very solidly made driving posts. There is a provision for banana plugs in there as well. As you can see it, you could put banana plugs in the bottom, but you have very, very solid connections on there

Hi, my name is Toby from sidon market. Today we are looking at the polk audio owm 3. This is really a Swiss Army knife of kind of speakers. They will kind of go anywhere, will mount in seven different ways, as demonstrated here on this box, and they come with various different mounts

4 but spent too much money on other projects.  I will pair with either Ascend HTM-200SE or Emotiva T0+ for L/R, Emotiva C2+ for C, and Polk OWM3 for surrounds and height, along with 2x RSL Speedwoofer 10s.  I’ll report back on how it all sounds, and hopefully save some $$$ next year and get an AVR with Dirac.

Anyone willing to take a chance on this, looks like great competition to the Denon AVR-S760H that was offered there a while ago.  Looks like the Costco clone of the 6100.

 There was nothing wrong with the KLH speakers, but it's base overwhelmed the main speakers and was so large my wife complained it made our entertainment room look like a used-speaker warehouse. As mediocre as some reviewers feel these OWM3 are, they do this job better than misused L/R main speakers!  Our 7+2 setup sounded nice but not noticeably better than 5+1 when we played "Pearl Harbor" and "Avatar" from DVD & Blue-ray disks with only 5+1 Surround-sound audio tracks. Over Thanksgiving, we rented the Sci-fie movie "Pacific Rim" that actually contains a 7+1 Surround-sound track and I was never so captivated by an Sci-fi action movie. My son who has a Onkyo 5+1 Surround Sound system really like how the audio came out of my audio system

 I usually turn of my Left Subwoofer when I play music or I'd get too much base. My setup wraps me in sound, and the Polk speakers pulls it weight in delivery thoroughly enjoyable music that includes pop, jazz, country, new age and musical, mostly from Pandora, Spotify and Slacker Radio.

 They are encased in walnut and are heavy. Center Speaker: KLH with Dual 4.5" mid-range speakers (from a 5+1 Surround-sound speaker set). Only press-board case painted black

My son who has a Onkyo 5+1 Surround Sound system really like how the audio came out of my audio system. He also liked the way this Polk Audio speakers come across as L/R Surround Speakers, and the way they look. My 7+2 stereo system consist of a mix of well-received equipment built from a low-to-midprice equipment

I am torn between the Klipsch (R-625FA towers + R-41M + R-52C) setup and the Jamo (S 809 towers + S 803 + S 83 CEN). I would be pairing these with a Yamaha V6A / TSR-700. My budget: &lt; $1000. My goal: Enjoying movies. Which of these options do yall think would work best for me?
