 The rose in here is just so deep and rich and dark and I'm picturing dark roses in a vase in a very dark room sitting on top of a piano. And then you have like this goth kind of person playing the piano which kind of does give me this creepy kind of feeling. So spicy rose, green rose, woody rose, earthy, fresh and cool at the same time, big, bold, projects like crazy, memorable and yeah this is pretty much like one of the most, one of the best rose perfumes that I've ever smelled. That you know I'm okay just owning, well I've gone through several samples of this but I'm okay owning just a small 3

 So yes those are the notes. Clove, yes definitely some clove. That's the spiciness in here and it's gorgeous. It's definitely a must try if you're just starting off with niche perfumes

Right now in the summer of Southern CA, it gets about 80 degrees on a cool day but I would reach for Chanel Sycamore. To me, it's elegant, refined, and classy as it sets the right mood for me wherever I go. This fits really well when everything is dimly lit, and the fragrance mixes in with the environment. I always associate this fragrance with art displays and musuems. It brings back a moments of appreciation. Of course I usually go easy on the trigger.

What do you wear? My second thought would be Dior Homme Original.

 I prefer a lighter fragance but with a lasting scent. I have one co-worker who comments about my fragance and always ask what I'm wearing, but when I wore this she never said a word. I took a chance on making this purchase without knowing what this fragance smelled like, but because of the price I thought surely it would be absoultely wonderful. Less Than Expected.

 And to give you context of how much I love this, I have to think about whether I'll buy a new oven now, but when I think about getting this, definitely I can get it now. I don't think twice of getting this, of getting another bottle. In terms of packaging, it's very simple. It came with this, has this jacket, red, the branding, it's quite simple, sensory fonts and then black packaging and that's the bottle

 So this is really at the top of the list, so I've got a few favorites, but this one is at the very very top. This is from Frederic Malle's Editions de Parfum and it's called the Portrait of a Lady by Dominique Ropion. Portrait of a Lady, this is such a masterpiece. Dominique Ropion also created another masterpiece which is the Carnal Flower

 This has become my signature scent. I get compliments every time and I know when I used to work in an office, they would say, Marisa, we can smell you from afar, three or four offices away from my office and they would say they could smell me from there. I got so much compliments wearing these from men, women, everyone. They would say, what's that smell? They would always ask and I like that it's linear

What's a fragrance everyone loves but you don't?

MUST BE GOOD

 Class by itself, but I will say something. Sephora has a fragrance from the Primrose line, and it has rose and patchouli and clove in it. I can't think of the name right now, but honestly, it puts me in the mind of Portrait of a Lady, but that's just saying, in the mind, nothing else quite like this one. And in a line of winners, that's saying something

 Six year round from the beach to the boardroom, I would be okay if I just secreted this stuff all day long. I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. Love it so much that I wear it as often as I can

 You guys know I love rose, oud, and amber, so you know that fragrance has to fit somewhere in that category. You talk about a collection of hundreds, almost thousands of fragrances, smelling fragrances every day, in and out for the last 10 plus years, to say your favorite fragrance on the planet to date is really saying something. This is one for me that every single time I wear it, I'm transported, it is heavenly for me. Now, it is not my most complimented fragrance by any stretch of the imagination, but it doesn't matter

 I don't care if I'm in jeans, and tennis shoes, and a t-shirt, or if I'm in a tuxedo, I put this stuff on. The rose note conundrum

First time i used, i thought i would never like it. It started like a bomb of rose and incense, and was even scary after paying such a price. However, after waiting some minutes the smell settles down and you can smell patchouli and other notes. In general, the more I use, the more I like it

L. I love the sweetness of the ylang ylang and the smoothness of the sandalwood. Now this, when I spoke in other reviews, there was ones that were metallic and smooth, and I really didn't like it because the smoothness was sort of pulled out a little bit too much, and it was jarring. This has smoothness running through it, but it's so palatable

 Hannibalide is smells of hot irons, smells of ceramic. You can dose it quite high, and it doesn't flatten down a formulation, and it gives a modern up-to-date feel within a formulation. Then this has muscoc that helps deal with the bloom of the fragrance, and the bloom is the top note that helps give that elevation and softness and sort of the feeling of effervescence on the top. This absolutely has the rose-like aroma chemicals, the phenyl ether alcohol, the citron L

 I quite like it, that dry rose feel. I'll give it a two out of two. Next four marks, whether I like it. Yeah, I love this
