How to choose a desk lamp

The lamp probably works well and the shape is very nice, but I took one look at the color and finish and shipped it back. In the photos and description, it appears to be a sort of walnut wood-toned metal with a rich finish. In reality it is a borderline garish metallic that I would describe as copper or, more accurately, rose gold. If you have actual walnut wood, or anything brass, it clashes pretty significantly

I wanted an LED desk light with enough size to be behind and to the side of me and light my work area. Adjusting light intensity is easy and the levels are well thought out. I use the lowest setting during the day, and the brightest is a good setting for late night work. Reviews that mention the placement of the power cord have a fair point, but for my desk the cord is facing away from me, and I don't think it's that big a deal anyway

Quality construction, highly functional and nice looks

 I especially love the way I can move the lamp from low task lamp, to tall stick. It is so sleek and minimalist--it really hits all the buttons for me. I highly recommend.

Beautiful design and look on wood desk

This is a beautiful lamp with a bright light. The problem is that I have bought this lamp twice and each time the lamp just stops working after about one week. It is disappointing and truly bizarre. Clearly, there is a defect in the lamp

Two Defective Lamps in a Row

The cord (which is not pictured or mentioned in the description). Comes out of the side of the lamp base in a very conspicuous and ugly way. They took care to hide the on button from view and then just plugged an ugly cord into the side. They didn't even design it for the cord to run along the structure, it literally sticks straight out like the bolt in the neck of Frankenstein's monster

The not pictured cord ruins the entire aesthetic.

I needed a floor lamp for my family room but did not want the distraction of a lamp shade. This lamp provides all light necessary with its 3 brightness selections and with its sleek design it hides in plain sight. I am getting ready to order another, as it's features are so unique and perfect for my needs.
