 I don't see anything unusual going on there that I know that person will be in the comments asking questions about that, or at least on the Facebook group. But yeah, everything else feels really great to me. and this to me, this is like a clear shot across the bow at Made in Mexico Fender Guitars 850 bucks. That's where Mexican Strats are starting these days, isn't it? I think that's where they're starting with the, um, the player line

 and I have actually played uh, the more expensive version of the Silver Sky at various stores and been impressed with them. I honestly have fond memories of playing them and thinking like wow, this honestly feels really good and this sounds really good And I'm pretty impressed with all the little like hardware tweaks that they made, like all the unique knobs and the unique uh, jack plate and stuff like that and the switch tip. I love that sort of stuff. Anytime someone reinvents the wheel a little bit with hardware and makes it look good, I'm kind of excited about it

 Sweetwater was very generous to source me with this. They sourced me with one of their demo guitars from what I can tell based on the sticker on that box, and I I greatly appreciate it. So if you're shopping, uh, consider buying one of these or something else from Sweetwater with the link below so that they can see that this sort of thing pays off for them. [Laughter] You don't have to do it, do whatever you want, but I'm just saying it would help

PRS Silver Sky SE - I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT JOHN MAYER! but I still wanted this guitar.

 And if the guitar isn't set up right, I think sometimes people don't understand their guitar is not set up right and just think guitar is too hard. I know there are some people in this world who've put a guitar away because they said guitar is just not for me, but what they really had going on was that the guitar wasn't set up in a way that was comfortable to play and so I was always stuck in between these two answers. It's going to be too expensive, or it's going to be sort of crummy and it's not going to give someone the right kind of playing experience to begin playing guitar. The Silversky Sc is now the answer I've been looking for because it's affordable enough, but it's also going to stand up against the test of time and a lot of playing

I like avenged sevenfold and as well as bands like plini and polyphia if that helps at all and I know I would be along way away from playing songs from them as a beginner but I figured I would throw that in there if it matters at all lol thank you.

[NEWBIE] New to the world of Guitars

 Yeah, all the pickups sound fantastic and they're usable as well. with that tone control on the bridge pickup, that's that's a that's a godsend. The feel of it again. The neck is very very very close to mine and it feels fantastic

 The feel of it again. The neck is very very very close to mine and it feels fantastic. It's super well finished. it's got that kind of nice gunstock oils type finish, so it's not quite satin, but it feels really comfortable under the hands

PRS SE Silver Sky John Mayer Guitar Review - Worth it?

If you're trying to optimise for cleans, I'd probably go for the Silver Sky or any other strat. Even if you reject the tone wood stuff, think dual humbuckers will sound sufficiently different from triple singles. What guitars do you currently have?

[QUESTION] PRS Se Silver sky vs SE Custom 24-08

 Um, but here it just says Prs not and if it was bone or if it was Graphtec, they'd probably list it. Which leads me to believe it's probably a basic plastic nut, but this guitar has been holding tuned very well and as you guys know, I like to play on a guitar for about a month before I ever consider bringing it to the channel. and such is the case here. And this guitar does hold tunes, so even though it's not a bone nut, it's cut nice and it holds tuned so that's good

 And if you want the abalone birds you will have to look somewhere else. But I think for a more yeah vintage or classic look, these ones look good. Now as for the body, well let's start by looking at the back. Now the first thing to note is we get a contoured heel joint and a very nice classy looking neck plate as well

 Hits the mark classy, looks good, you know, and then on the front, just plain plastic, so I think even just a simple engraving of silver sky right there. That's all it would take. It would class it up, it would look great. Um, and you know, on a guitar that doesn't say anything

 Now as for the body, well let's start by looking at the back. Now the first thing to note is we get a contoured heel joint and a very nice classy looking neck plate as well. Love that that's a great touch on this guitar. Uh, you get the pure scoop there

PRS SE SILVER SKY! - Single Coil Perfection!

It does exactly what it's supposed to achieve, and it plays great. I was positively surprised and would be happy to have that as my strat (I'm a PRS Custom 24/CE 22 player day to day). You get a lot of guitar in the Silver Sky. It's a great well thought through design, and the hardware and electronics are super nice
