Puma Clyde All Pro

So wrapping things up, this is one of my favorite shoes like of this year. This is a top performer.

Puma Clyde All-Pro. Well thought of here, but I am just not sure. KD 14: There was a reason I am reluctant to buy these, I can't remember what it was though. Are the insoles removable?.

5'8" weighing 145 lb, 34 YO. People describe my game as 'old man' style, which means I'm slower than I think I am and that I have no hops. I recently tried the Puma All Clyde Pro, given their spectacular reviews, but the lockdown (probably due to the stiff upper) leaves me sliding inside the shoe and is too narrow for me.

I know everyone loves the Puma Clyde all pro’s, and I LIKE them, but I’m now officially an ASICS guy now. *Bonus: the gelbursts look corny and you get to show people up in them.

I actually just tried the Puma Clyde All-Pro (Kuzma high-top version as that's all I could find in my size) and found them to be entirely too mushy for me. My current shoes are the Under Armour Anatomix from a few years back, which have god-tier traction and great court feel compared to the Pumas.

The Puma Clyde All pro is good and I believe the traction is better than regular KD14 but not the EP versions. The PCAP is still good but little to no squeek if you like for your traction to sound responsive. The material on the PCAP can be a little stiff and takes a few days/ games to soften.

I’ve heard everyone gassing up the Puma All Clyde Pro but I’m not a big fan of the shoe aesthetically & don’t really like the few colorways they have out. I just burned the soles on my Kobe 9’s & I’ve heard this shoe compares.

I’d just recommend going with the puma Clyde all pro for everything you need and then swapping the insole. Wide foot specific ball shoes are also offered by new balance in EEE sizing that should accommodate if your orthotic is custom and requires a wider last.
