I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 Today I am doing a video on this product which is the QV Face Gentle Cleanser. So this one is a 500 gram bottle and this retails for $19. So this, in my opinion, is so affordable. Like this is such a big size bottle and $19

QV GENTLE DAILY CLEANSER HONEST REVIEW!!!

The QV gentle face cleanser, QV intensive with ceramides and the QV night cream are my favourites! Amazing brand.

I reached out to Ergo /QV and this is how they responded

 It has antioxidant properties, which help to defend against pollution and environmental aggressors. It's a good ingredient to help stabilize vitamin C as well. Vitamin C is quite unstable. If you look for skin care products that have vitamin C in them, if they also have vitamin E in them, then that's a good product

 So people that typically have really, really dry skin, a sort of humectant ingredient is going to be ideal for you. I find it very moisturizing. What glycerin does is it helps to retain the moisture within the skin and like I covered in the last video, every time our skin gets wet, we go through a process called TUELS, which stands for Transepidermal Water Loss. And basically, if you have a humectant like glycerin, that sort of helps retain that moisture

 This one here has a few more ingredients compared to the other washes that I have covered so far. Technically part of their face range. Yeah, there's literally no reason why you can't use this as a body wash. I mean, it's just marketing, right? Main ingredient that I want to talk about is petrolatum

 This is very, very moisturizing, as advertised. It is for extremely dry skin and I personally have that, so I find this to be very beneficial. Its main ingredient, like the first one, even before water, is glycerin. About 60%, a high concentration of glycerin

QV Moisturising Cleanser & QV Gentle Cleanser Review

Despite it being rich and creamy, it foams just enough to feel like it’s cleansing you properly. The texture reminds me a lot of the QV Gentle Face Cleanser.

I have combo/dehydrated/acne prone skin 

In the past I’ve used:

MooGoo Milk Wash (okay, but has fragrance and not especially hydrating / too foaming) 

DermaVeen Extra Hydration Wash (also okay, nice ingredient list, but left my skin a bit squeaky)

I’m thinking of trying LRP Toleriane Caring Wash? 

Any other suggestions? Preferably from CW.

Gentle Cleanser Recommendations?

QV face foaming cleanser. Gentle, non stripping and affordable. Very similar to the Hada Labo foaming cleanser.

What product do you think is UNDERRATED and why?

Oil cleanse/makeup removal (QV bath oil), regular cleanse (QV Gentle Face) and night cream (Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair - Less retinol than prescription tret but not bad for over the counter). I add an exfoliator if the trip is long enough.

Over the last few years I've managed to stop packing a checked bag for every trip and now pack comfortably into a carry on and personal item, but I'd like to ditch one of them for our impending trip to Alaska, if possible. I definitely see where I'm over packing on the clothing front and can reduce there...but what do you do about products?! In just my everyday morning routine I use 30 products...and then another 5 at night. Have you found a miracle cream that is somehow sunscreen and retinol? Do you not use three oils and dry shampoo to tame your hair? What about makeup?! Honestly, products probably take half of my space when I travel and I just don't see a way to condense that and still care well for my hair and skin? 

I'm open to any and all recommendations, please!

QV Face Gentle Cleanser is the most basic, simple, inoffensive cleanser I’ve ever tried. No irritation and I personally found it quite moisturising.

Never did I think LRP Toleraine Cleanser would leave me with tight skin and a little bit of dryness.

Is there anything more gentle than that?

Recommendations for an extremely gentle cleanser?

I love the QV gentle face cleanser! Replaced my more expensive ones with this after using a sample and haven’t looked back. In fact I’m ready to swap out other products with other QV ones :)

Cheap face cleansers

 I much prefer the QV Gentle Cleanser in Winter and the Cleansing Foam in the summer. I also like the Glow Lab Foaming cleanser, one of the few foaming cleansers that doesn’t make my skin feel striped after.

I’ve never liked the Cetaphil cleanser and the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser burnt my skin. I think there are much better cleansers out there that are also affordable.
