I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

I wanted a body wash without SLS, and this was quite highly reviewed so I gave it a try. Please bare in mind that the word 'gentle' is in the title of this item. I honestly didn't feel like it cleaned me very well when I used it to wash my face. Perhaps the aim of this product wasn't to give a very deep clean, but this was the reason I was not completely satisfied with the item

 I've always preferred having a nice smelling body wash, so bear this in mind when buying.

No real scent, didn't feel it cleaned too thoroughly.

Summary of my skincare journey 
- I live in NZ and basically have had pretty nice clear skin up until around 18 where I would get a few pimples here and there 
- currently I think my skin barrier is damaged and I have redness, uneven skin tone, random bumps and spots 

I have been using cetaphil gentle cleanser but I belive it's dried me out and my friend there's an ingredient that's probably not great for me.

Just looking for a simple cleanser that I will use after my Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil at night!

AFFORDABLE soaps for eczema?

Makes very dry skin worse

I’ve never liked the Cetaphil cleanser and the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser burnt my skin. I think there are much better cleansers out there that are also affordable. I much prefer the QV Gentle Cleanser in Winter and the Cleansing Foam in the summer.

personally for me i feel like i haven't enjoyed my experiences with either cerave or cetaphil cleansers and it sucks because they are at affordable price points and everyone raves about them! 

for reference i have sensitive, oily, combo skin.

cetaphil cleansers does absolutely nothing for me and does not clean my face properly!

cerave foaming cleansers dries out my skin way too much and leaves it red while the hydrating is way too hydrating and doesn't cleanse my skin personally. The cream-to-foam cleanser i enjoy the formula but still think its a bit too harsh for my skin just like the foaming cleansers!

currently i use no cleanser and just water because of this!

what do you guys think? is it just me or does anyone have any experiences like this?
