The best mouse for claw grip with a wired connection that we've tested is the Razer DeathAdder V2. It feels well-built and remarkably comfortable. It has an aggressive shape with a pronounced palm bump and left and right buttons that seem to curve forward sharply like fangs, but claw grip users with medium to extra large hands will find it very comfortable.

Performance-wise, you can adjust the CPI in increments of 50 within a very wide range, and its click latency is amazingly low. It has a very low lift-off distance, ideal if you're a high-sensitivity player who lifts their mouse to reposition. Additionally, you can reprogram all of its buttons using the customization software, and you can assign a Hypershift button to enable a second layer of commands. You can also use the software to adjust the RGB lighting zones in the scroll wheel and razer crest embedded in the palm rest.

Unfortunately, it's a fairly large mouse overall, so if you have small hands you won't reach the forward side button using a relaxed claw grip. With that said, it's an excellent choice for just about any gamer who favors a claw grip.

 That seems to happen on a lot of their products to hopefully to avoid that next time around they can use better quality plastic and the last thing that I would love them to change. Lower the weight to like semi grams or less, and that would be perfect because 70 grams I feel like, is the higher end. Maybe the 75 grams that the Viper is really close to is about the highest end of mice that I really like that. I noticed that after that, and they start to get a little bit more heavy than that

 The build quality is better because you can definitely tell the plastic feels a little bit better and especially on the sides, the plastic and the rubber feel a ton better as well. It just feels a little bit more premium. I don't know what they decided to do. If it's a different kind of rubber texture or whatever the case is it just feels a little bit better and gives you a bit better grip? One thing I will say about the DEF adder is that the shape has always been really comfortable and I'm surprised it like a ton of mice haven't really been modeled exactly after the death adder, but for sure the grips on the side, the buttons the scroll wheel, Do feel a bit better than the old Death Adder number 2

 Now. These skates do feel just like the Viper, and they do feel really good. I don't feel like I need to change the skates at all I'll, be fine living with the stocks case. If I was gon na make this my main Mouse, as you can probably tell they - are pretty big they're super smooth more than likely it's the same kind of PTFE material that is found on the razor Viper, which is probably why I share the same feelings that I don't really need or have the urge to replace these skates with something else and last but not least, they also upgraded the sensor to the latest 5g optical sensor, as well as the mouse buttons to their latest opto mechanical switches for mice

 So the same switches that we've seen in the Razer Viper at first, these optomechanical switches and they do sound totally different than the older mechanical switches and, of course they react a lot faster as well. But what does bother me is the amount of pretrial before the switch activates, and I wish that they could reduce that by bringing the shell closer to the buttons and minimizing the amount of free travel that way number to the scroll wheel. I wish the scroll wheel was just a little bit smoother just a little bit, not a lot, though. The third thing I wish that they would use better quality plastic, because I do feel like on the mm 710 after, using that one for a really long time and the haughty as well

DEATHADDER V2 Mouse Review - is it worth buying? (2020 Update)

 While I love the mouse, I will never purchase another Razer product again.  Bonus: After only three months, the replacement mouse I found I was wearing through the material in the same spot again! This time, rather than go through a second dose of their piss-poor support, I merely purchased some grip tape from Amazon, cut the shape I needed to cover the area in question, and now the mouse handles wonderfully. God forbid Razer invests just a few more cents into using more durable material on the area where the thumb rests. It would seem that would break the bank and destroy life as we know it

 Ten minutes of time and two inches of grip tape pared down to the semi-circle shape I needed easily beats out a month of wasted time and extreme frustration.

The final cherry on top was the copious amounts of reminders I gave them before the unit was being shipped to me to make sure to include the promised grip tape. Guess what didn't show up with the mouse? If you said "the grip tape" you win a gold star.  To summarize: I had a tiny, but very noticeable problem developing on my mouse and not only did the company choose to go through an unnecessarily expense method to correct it, but they provided terrible service, the site seems to be poorly coded, and their "support" has difficulty reading and comprehending emails and chats, seem slow to ship and process Advanced RMA security deposit refunds, and seem utterly incompetent when it comes to performing what should have been a simple task. I had a lot of empty promises made by a lot of people who seemed more keen on using templates and repeating actions that didn't work the previous six times than in actually solving the problem

A great mouse (so far), but seriously terrible support and warranty service

 Alright. So this is the new Death Adder V, a $ 69 Mouse that is perfect for the mainstream in 2020. First, it's almost half the weight of the original and I'm kind of glad they didn't reduce the weight any further, because the Death Adder is a pretty large Mouse and anything lighter would just feel weird. While the Guild Wars from 2007 is a heavy weight in comparison

 Let me know in the comments and yeah. It was just a little bit of an adjustment from me going from my mm 7-eleven to the v2, which is slightly bigger and a bit chunkier.  The surface coating has improved to include the rubberized texture on the side, grips versus the glossy sides on the original, and I am quite impressed at the state of the mat rubberized coating on this guild wars edition after more than a decade of use and I'm actually Hoping for a return of this like dual tone: color variations in the future mice, because the plain black is just getting bland and I get that RGB customization is here, but I wish that Razer would have a bit more fun with textures and colors. The v2 also has some of the best my switches around using optical switches, so debounce delay is non-existent and 70million lifespan will outlive the two year warranty they sound better, they feel better and it's exactly what you'd expect in 2020 and by the way, those sight browser Buttons are still quite chunky with a similar profile or dpi switch at the bottom and two additional buttons behind a school wheel on the v2. Perhaps the only other similar element between the original and the v2 would be the scroll wheel. The design, of course, is different and the v2 has more tactility and control, but they feel very alike, light scroll steps, excellent middle-click and a super low profile

Razer DeathAdder V2 X Review, THE BEST DEATHADDER YET!

**Razer Deathadder V2 & Mini (not pictured)**. I'm one of the five people on Earth that cannot enjoy the shape of the Deathadder. The Mini felt better, but both weren't my favourites. Quickly passed on these guys

2020 is the year I discovered actually good Razer mouses

 But what Razer is touting here is we have best-in-class ergonomics, Razer optical mouse switches, and the Focus Plus optical sensor. So I know we covered those in the specs, but we didn't really talk about the ergonomics. As far as how it fits my hand, it is pretty nice, I will say that. And as testing it out while I was gaming, it did feel good in my hand

 Let's go over them right now. We have a 20k optical sensor versus the previous 16k sensor, 70 million click durability switches, eight programmable buttons versus seven, the Razer SpeedFlex cable, a little upgraded cable, 82 gram lightweight design versus the 105 gram mid-weight design. Then we have up to five onboard memory profiles, which is nice, and instinctive scroll wheel tactility. The big ones here for me are the 20k DPI optical sensor
