I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

For family videos and such it’s ok, but why spend any money for that?  A preamp would probably help improve the microphone or better yet, get a separate audio recorder.

The coiled and fixed cable was also a problem when my phone was mounted in a stabilizing gimbal, the coil tension repeatedly pulled the phone off balance. I love rode's home studio recording mics, my NT1A is a gem, but this mic misses the mark even at a third off the price. I bought an Audio Technica AT8024 and it is leaps and bounds better sonically, notably less obtrusive in size, and offers both stereo and mono recording

I was very disappointed in the sound quality. Other reviewers that called it "muddy" are spot on. I have a Tascam DR-05 version 2 digital recorder that I paid $80 for new on Amazon, and the pair of mics built-in sound much, much better, and there are 2 of them. The mic body is plastic, which I wasn't expecting in a pencil-style condenser

I will not pretend to be more than a photographer who is now also doing videos for my family and work. I use my Canon 3Ti DSLR and this has made a huge difference in sound quality. I am editing a video now which has sound before I purchased this and sound after I purchased this. The difference is night and day

This mic does just that me. I've used it both indoors in a controlled setting as well as outdoors in a live concert setting - - and it performed beautifully

  I don't have any con's to list because it is everything I expected it to be: lightweight, easy to attach, powered through the camera and produces the quality that I needed. Another plus was that I was able to find videos on YouTube in order to compare with other mics and make my decision, and I am able to use it on my Canon Rebel camera when needed.  I will definitely be purchasing another Rode mic in the near future.

Very Good Mic

 (with very little to no white noise) I use this for filming hunts and video outdoors, where I do put some wear and tear on it, packing it around in a backpack and such. The ruggedness of it works well for me, better than the pro i would think. I'e had no issue with needed to switch settings in the battery housing, and simply use the "on" switch works good for me. Overall I like this mic and would purcahse it again

LOVE IT! Great construction and sound!

 But this mic picked up every voice. The parents loved having the video to watch afterward as they could hear everything they missed during the show. The mount works perfectly, so the mic doesn't pick up any handling noise. Yes, you may pay more for a Rode with this integrated mount, but you don't have to worry about the rubber bands breaking or the mic slipping out

Great Great Great

Use this microphone on top of my A7s for shooting weddings and corporate events. It is a brilliant product for capturing the everyday sounds of these events. I have the important figures mic'ed up so I don't have to worry about pointing my camera with a large mic near them and they still sound incredible. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I film a bunch of reviews and unboxing videos and use this microphone and it captures everything from the mechanical noises my knife makes when opening it or the removal of adhesive from the tape of the product
