Unfortunately, that's the one catch to this model. Even at the lowest seat height, our 2 year old can't touch the ground well enough to push it. (Actually, she's about 2 years 4 months now and still can't use it.) She's not tiny, either, she falls squarely into average height and weight for her age

Beautiful, solid bike but BIG!

 The seat and basket may have leather on them; at least, the basket ties do. This could be an issue for vegans. The bell has a plastic dinger switch that is flexible. This is good for avoiding injuries to kiddos, but may break over time

The only negative is probably the weight. Depending how big your toddler is, this may not be an issue, but it was noticeable much heavier than my Strider. Overall though, really great bike for beginners.
