 Makes a great baby cam as well. I have had 2 indoor cams give me problems in the past, either dropping off my network, or the snapshot option not working. If you have read my ring reviews before, I am well versed in networking and I have found that some ring reps want to always point the finger at every else but their devices. I can say I have found problems in a couple of their devices and once they were replaced, the problem was solved

 Get the angle of view your looking for and then set up your motion zone and sensitivity. Make sure you check the “health” box to see your signal sensitivity. If you are using a mesh router network, you should reconnect to the closest link for it, if not you may have to reconfigure to the nearest of it isn’t automatic. Make sure you turn on the snapshot option as well

 It'S just a really nice view that we're getting here with the ring indoor cam as video quality. Here we are checking out the night vision on the ring indoor cam. You can see that it's catching me pretty. Well, I'm about 6 feet away

 We want to see at least 1080p and a 120 degree field of view, and fortunately the ring and dark ham comes through solidly in both regards it has 1080p high-definition video and a 140 degree field of view. You add that with a digital zoom - and you got yourself a nice little shot of whatever is taking place in the room, you can see me you can capture my features. All of that really clearly with the ring indoor camp. For that we give it full marks

 If we do little globe tests, you'll note that if we go and do some zooming, you can see pretty well, I mean we've got the eastern of Africa East Africa. Here South Africa, you can see the Indian subcontinent. It'S just a really nice view that we're getting here with the ring indoor cam as video quality. Here we are checking out the night vision on the ring indoor cam

 So that's a really useful element of the ring indoor cam and it's integration with the Amazon. Finally, it is just really affordable, it's just $ 60 and that's just another petite camera. That'S basically bringing all of what you can expect from some of the other cameras and the ring ecosystem and just a little tiny package. So I think that the fact that they've added this camera to round out their system is really useful and even by itself, if you have nothing else, the ring indoor camp is a great value

Unfortunately, my printer (Davinci 1.0 pro) isn't compatible with octoprint. I would love to be able to control it remotely and check in on it at school (just to make sure I don't end up with a 1kg ABS spaghetti or a burned down house) Is there a way to manage the printer while I'm absent? I was thinking of using Raspberry pi as a web server with a live feed and many a Bluetooth plug to turn the 3d printer off in case of emergency but that seems complex (i don't have any coding knowledge). Is there something to make it work or should I just buy an Ender 3 v2 and run octoprint and get rid of the limitations of this company like not being able to use other slicers (i tried cura and I had to make a new custom profile and that didn't work well), and not being able to modify my printer. Hoping to get some more info.

Controlling printer remotely without Octoprint

 If something had happened to my home I would be SOL with Ring, as the camera has basically been an expensive paperweight on my shelf the past two days.  So I reached out to support again. I was told that because the trial ended two days ago, no footage was recorded or stored, all of the previously stored footage has been deleted from their system, and there was nothing the agent could do but add another trial to my account to ensure I have events recorded while he forwarded my case to their account team (who would respond within 24-48 hours). That was nearly 12 hours ago, during business hours, and I still haven't heard anything from Ring

  So I reached out to Ring to inquire why I was getting these messages when I ALREADY had a paid, annual plan for Protect Plus. The chat support agent I spoke with assured me that all new cameras added to an account activate a Free Trial of 30 days, after which my account would revert back to my paid plan. Ok, whatever, a dumb system but I can live with that since my plan is supposedly still intact. The chat agent agreed it wasn't a great system, but that's how it's setup for now

  My real beef with Ring is with their Protect Plus plan, which is supposed to cover all cameras in your home. I paid for the annual plan last December 7th, and everything was great until I purchased the Ring Indoor Cam.  When I added the camera to my account, Ring "activated" a "Free trial subscription" of 30 days for Ring Protect Plus. I started to get notices in the app and nearly daily emails telling me I only had X days left on my "trial" and urging me to "upgrade" my account to a paid plan

 So you can see all the different settings here. I'M gon na skip over most of these and just highlight a couple of them. I want to focus on motion settings, so you can either go through the motion that setup wizard, which will take you through all the steps below, or you can see that you can manually go through these steps of setting up activity zones getting notified if it detects A person motion sensitivities, you know setting up motion schedules of things like that, we're gon na back out of here and the other one I want to show you guys is device settings so in device settings here we can control the video settings snapshot capture now. That is a unique feature with ring and what it will do is it'll

 This is what the camera looks like about two feet away with that 1080p camera. How does it look and sound yeah our success that have the ring indoor camera with its night vision? This is what it looks like completely in the dark, I'm going to go back here, so I went all the way back about 30 feet. Just give you guys an idea of what it looks like at night and what kind of stuff that it is picking up. So how does it look so what'd? You guys think of the footage

 It'S gon na play small videos and take you through every single step, which just makes everything is so easy. Alright. So now that we have the camera set up, let me show you some of the features that this thing has in the second line down here you can see my camera, it is titled downstairs, I'm gon na go ahead and click on the image which is gon Na bring up a live view of what the camera is seeing right now, underneath the live view, will you either have the mic or the speaker? If you want to talk to somebody on the other side or hear what is going on, you see just to the left of the live view, is a blue line, we're gon na click on that and then scroll over. What this is going to do is it's going to show us all the motion triggers, so you can either tap onto the arrows next to that pause
