Roc-N-Soc Nitro Rider Throne

They are absolutely awful once you finally get a nice drum throne. This goes for all expensive drum thrones.

I am absolutely against hydraulic drum thrones because they make you bounce while you play unless you try to stay vertically motionless. This bouncing can be hard on the spine and neck, but it also means your entire body is moving up and down while you're playing. You can also look at it this way: pretend your body isn't what's moving up and down, but instead your entire setup is. I tried a hydraulic drum stool once (the Roc N Soc Nitro), and I'm never doing it ever again.

It feels so much sturdier than my old throne. It's big enough that I actually feel stable on it. It's quiet. It's comfortable as hell (I've even pulled it out to use at my desk a couple days for work).
