Not very aggressive, but definitely there. I really only care about knurling when I deadlift so take that with a grain of salt, but if I hadn’t seen some complain in reviews, then I wouldn’t have ever even guessed that people complained. The bar is quite narrow, but racks in my Rogue SML-2 just fine.

It looked used as the paint was worn out as if someone had used it on a cable machine (maybe they test it?). The knurling has multiple spots of protruding metal. There's a couple gashes. When I phoned Rogue today they didn't sound surprised at all, but told me to send an online support ticket.

Update: Received one bad j cup with my Rogue SML-2. It was too tight and I have to hit it several times to knock it into place. Emailed last week and after a few emails they are sending me what sounds like a new set even though I need 1.
