Rolex Daytona

The bracelet isn’t the best thing ever but when it’s on your wrist it really doesn’t feel too bad. Also I find it pretty awesome that the crown and pushers are screw down AND the bezel is ceramic!! All in all I am very pleased and can recommend this watch for us poor bois.

I know Daytonas aren’t exactly the most original choice nowadays, but this is a beautiful combo that I feel is not seen frequently. I love the way the black and rose gold contrast with each other, and the strap is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. I know the grey market pricing for steel models is absurd at the moment, so if anyone is considering one of those, I’d urge you to take a look at some of the PM models as well! There’s a lot of beautiful combinations available out there.

Though it is a Rolex Daytona, it’s not the one regular people notice. Even if it is easily recognizable for watch people, I do think that it is very discreet for what it is. The watch itself feels pretty light and is very comfortable to wear.

I was traveling for two weeks so I wanted something for all the occasions. My favorite watch roll holds five so these were the five that made the cut. I was in Dubai so I knew it was going to be hot so three sport watches came for day activities and two dress watches for night activities. The watches, Patek 5970j, fp journe resonance, rolex Daytona, rolex gmt Batman, Patek 5711.

Rolex have ticked all the boxes with this watch. Onto the Rolex Daytona 116500LN Black Dial. This is such a fantastic watch, it is a joy to wear and admire on your wrist.

I think the Rolex Daytona is the most overrated watch by far. It has to be the least interesting of Rolex’s watches. The submariner, explorer, GMT-master, air-king, milgauss and sea-dweller are much interesting. I would never buy the Daytona at the AD price to wear it, i would only buy it so I could sell it at a ridiculous price on the grey marked.The Omega speedmaster 321 and Breguet XXI are much better options.

I’ve allways wanted a Rolex Daytona, but with the limited supply and long waiting lists i never tought the day would come. So finally i got the call! The Daytona was ready just two weeks ago after some years of waiting at my local AD!. For me, i think this is a perfect pair for a everyday two-watch collection and i could not be happier.
