My rossignol black ops 98 are a bit unforgiving and don’t edge well enough. I tried the Nordica Santa Ana 88s, they were ok but a bit soft and chattery. The vokyl secret 95s were too boring/groomer oriented, didn’t turn well. I liked the armada declivity 92 but could use a little more dampening in the tips.

Out of the options you listed (all good) I would definitely recommend the Fischer RC One 78 (well known favorite among carvers), and the Rossignol Black ops 98 W. I think the sheeva and the blaze are too stiff and for hard chargers (I don't know why blizzard doesn't make a female version of the much more manageable and loved Rustler). I don't really know anything about the Ranger 102 but Rossi Black Ops do have a great reputation as very enjoyable powder skis.

* Rossignol Black Ops Escaper 93 -- really enjoyed these, found them pretty close to the Blizzards but a little easier to turn in the natural moguls. After reading a bit about them after the fact and talking to a few of the guys at the shop, they seemed to think that generally for east coast skiing the Brahama's might have the edge and the Rossi Black Ops were just especially playful in the snow, but that's not normal.

Buy them at the height of your forehead. For lighter build skiers (my boys) the Rossi smash or sassy (now black ops) has exceeded my expectations in a no metal do everything ski. They are both cheap and well built.

I also demo'd the Rossignol Black Ops Holyshred 98/172 and loved them, not quite as stable as the 4frnts but still very good and better turn initiation and hard pack performance (and they matched my boots). I think that the 170-175ish length and 95-100ish width seems to be what I liked, though maybe I should get longer so I can grow in to them (thoughts on that?).
