 It feels like it's a lot lighter on your feet than it is on the scale. Definitely that 2500 gram mark is in play for this and just because of that sheer amount of mass, this ski definitely packs on the pounds a little bit. Built from a poplar wood core, we also get an ABS beam underfoot as well as damp tech rubber inserts in the tips and the tails. So that's a pretty nice construction for a ski like this, but really kind of the star of this show is the shape and the profile with very long rocker profiles, super tapered shape, very much into that deep snow mentality

Pretty new to the park just started hitting rails and stuff at the end of the season last year but want to get into it more.

Mostly ski Lake Louise so pretty rare to get lots of powder. Have a pair of Soul 7s I got as hand me downs. Want to keep them for the powder days as they’re pretty dece for me, but really not liking them on the marginal days.

All Mountain / Park ski for marginal conditions

 This ski is... We don't really talk about the construction or some of the finer points of the ski, as we call this thing the Black Ops, but once you get on this thing and figure out what it does, it is a blast to ski on

 In a couple inches of fresh snow, this thing is an absolute dream. It turns very, very quickly, very smoothly, but if you're looking to charge through snow, this is a winner. This ski is.

 The ski is 118 millimeters in the waist, and I would say it's about 50% camber, 50% rocker. This is a great ski for someone that's looking for a very stout, more aggressive powder ski for big mountain freeride type situations. In a couple inches of fresh snow, this thing is an absolute dream. It turns very, very quickly, very smoothly, but if you're looking to charge through snow, this is a winner

Hey there reddit! 

I've got a skinny ski, a few all mountain skis, and next year I'm looking for a powder ski to add to the set.

I was hoping someone here could give me some suggestions or make the call for me.

My current lineup:

- Nordica Enforcer 104FR - all mountain my daily driver
- Volk Mantra 102  - all mountain through crud/late season... they feel like tanks and go fast, but they "3d cut" makes it easy enough to do moguls once you get used to it
- Blizzard Rustler 9 - Rock/early-season skis. Got them cheap and they are super forgiving/playful
- Dynastar something touring setup - Got them secondhand, but they do alright. I wouldn't push the pin-bindings too hard, but they are stupid light and easy to tour with.

What I'm looking at right now: 

- Nordica enforcer 110FR - I think I'm bias because I really like my 104s... I'm not honestly sure this would give the kind of powder float I'd be looking for in a dedicated powder ski
- Bent Chetler 120 - I just felt them at the store.... I've never felt something that fat that is actually light in weight. They have decent reviews.
- K2 Reckoner 122 - I tried the smaller reckoner in a smaller width and I liked how well it performed on hard-pack given that's not really what it's for. I've seen it recommended in a couple of videos. I feel like it must be a pretty good ski.

Coloradan looking for a daily driver all mtn ski to add to my quiver. 

I spend \~50% of my time with little ones (under 4) on groomers, trees, mild bumps, and small park features. Ideally this unicorn skis switch, is fairly damp, and can hold up when I get the oppy to ski hard. Aka I don't want park skis (Blend), I don't want a directional (mantra/enforcer), I don't want wide planks, and I have a dedicated touring set-ups.

I've narrowed down to the Dynastar free 99 and the Bent 100 (thanks Blister). Anything else I should consider (e.g. Camox, Prodigy)? 

FWIW I know there are trade offs and have other skis when the opportunity presents itself. Current Quiver: Nomad 105(pow), MX98 (early season/low tide), BC Corvus Freebird (winter bc), BC  Ova Freebird (spring skimo).

I'm looking to purchase my first Ski. I'm 6'0, 160LBS, I have mainly ski'd hand-me-down ski's including an old 78 width atomic (not sure the model), and K2 pinnacle 88. I wanted to demo a ski that was more stable so over the weekend at Whistler. I ended up demoing a nordica enforcer 100 (179cm). Overall the ski was great, but I did find the ski quite demanding and heavy. I'm looking for something a bit lighter, but has similar properities.

Intermediate Ski for PNW

Seems like most of the skis that fall into the 'best of' categories are not sized for shorter skiers like myself and also the logic around waist sizing may not apply so well either.  I'm 5'5 (165cm) 120 lbs.  Consider myself an intermediate skier and spend most of my time on blue runs and enjoy hitting bumps about half of the day and crusing groomed runs the rest here in Oregon/Mt Hood. Any recommendations either for a single quiver ski or maybe two options for more versatility?  Should I be looking for a softer ski vs stiff given my weight and desire to occasionally be in moguls? Less than 88cm waist? Appreciate any feedback.
