 So basically this thing is just going to feel loose and surfy throughout any kind of condition. Now the board is set to have a feel and flex rating of a four by Rossignol, but I'd have to say it's just a little bit softer than that. I'd probably put it in the three zone. So it's going to be an easy board that's torsionally soft to maneuver around

 But the cool thing about this board is the core profile. The core, which is popular, actually has an all-mountain directional flex profile, meaning that the tail of the board or underneath your back foot is going to be a little bit more sturdy than the front section. That allows for your front foot to kind of torsionally flex the board to help guide and steer it in the turns and directions that you want to go. That poplar wood core has a bi-ax fiberglass on top and a bi-ax fiberglass on bottom

 Now this is a really easy to ride profile shape that's virtually catch free. It has a very small 20% camber zone in between the feet for a little bit of stability, but underneath and in between the feet or underneath to the feet to the contact points, the board is going to have a gradual sweeping rocker. So basically this thing is just going to feel loose and surfy throughout any kind of condition. Now the board is set to have a feel and flex rating of a four by Rossignol, but I'd have to say it's just a little bit softer than that

2016 Rossignol Circuit Amptek Snowboard Review - YouTube

 Inside it is a wood core that's made out of poplar. It features a Biax Fibergrass on top, Biax Fibergrass on bottom and it has a really cool all mountain flex profile shape. The directional flex meaning that the tail of the board has a little bit thicker of a profile underneath that back foot for a more sturdy style feel and that nose actually is easier to maneuver and that's kind of what makes it special and great for beginner intermediate level riders. The base is going to be fast, it's low maintenance, it's extruded and it has the die cut kind of property to it and then lastly is a 360 wrap standard steel edge with a radial side cut that makes this board really easy to turn and very consistent on the snow

 Now Rosno rates this board to have a feel and flex of about a four but I have to say it's one point down to about a three.  You get sideways, you want to try to ideally aim for the center of that camera zone, and this board will clap out, I don't care who you are, it's just got so much flex, it's just going to clap right out. If you're not in that camera zone, it gets a little off, it's a little more secure because of that rocker, but it's still soft, you're still going to fold this thing if you need to. Make no qualms about it, it's a beginner board, I only rode this for the beginners. I know I overpower this thing

 This is, like I said, Fisher Price, my first butterboard and when it comes to jibbing on this thing, like I said, tone it down a notch or two, you can overpress this and cause it to buckle and wash out, so you just want to be a little bit light on your feet unless you're a beginner, because hey, if you're a beginner, just lean into it. Lean back, tail press, lean forward, nose press. You get sideways, you want to try to ideally aim for the center of that camera zone, and this board will clap out, I don't care who you are, it's just got so much flex, it's just going to clap right out. If you're not in that camera zone, it gets a little off, it's a little more secure because of that rocker, but it's still soft, you're still going to fold this thing if you need to

 First and foremost, let's be honest with each other here, this is a beginner to a low level intermediate board, so of course it's going to be soft flexing. With that said, you have this stiff section right between the inserts, I mean right where that camber section is. That's the stiffest portion of the board and even then it's not that stiff, and then the nose and the tail, super soft, and the torsional flex, highly abundant, you can really twist this board. So with that said, you do get a lot of chatter when you charge with this thing, you feel everything with it

This board features Rossignol's Amptek Auto Turn, 20% camber between the feet, rocker throughout the rest of the board. So basically it's got a little bit of camber in there to kind of be a flex point and help with snap, and then you got all this rocker which is just going to make it super loose and playful out in the tip and the tail.
