Lightweight mechanical pencil

Just bought my first Rotring 600 after using my Logo II for ~15 years now (finally broke it). 

The grip towards the bottom near the lead tip starts to indent your fingers and hurts after writing for a while or if you hold it too tight. 

Any solutions? Am I the only one?
