I initially LOVED this rug. It’s extremely beautiful and substantial rug for the money. We purchased it last year in May and it is now January. I wanted to see how it faired in our home before submitting a review

 Feels great under your feet, almost like a gentle foot massage. The cat doesn't seem to hate it either, and it is soft enough that she doesn't think it is a giant scratching post. It is also surprisingly light for an 8'x10' rug - I managed to wrangle it into my SUV and up to the second story of a house by myself. I have not noticed any significant shedding in the 24 hours it has been in my living room
