 Now of course, that's not the only reason to buy wireless earbuds, so let's get into what was a bit disappointing. The Buds Plus now have two microphones instead of one, so we expected better mic quality, but when we compared it to the original Buds, we didn't hear much of a difference. I read through a few threads around headphones + sleeping on this sub. However they were all a little outdated, and didn't quite hit the nail on the head for me.

What do you guys think would be the best wireless earbuds for sleeping in? So good that you might even consider sleeping on your side in them! Comfort over sound quality (or both!).

I have a simple unbranded pair I got off amazon, but they protrude out a little to far so put pressure on your ear on your side. Curious as to what you guys think would be a good alternative!

What wireless earbuds would be great for sleeping?

 Like I mentioned, it's not as good as regular headphones but it's decent for earbuds. In the Samsung app the Dynamic EQ setting is by far the best. If anything, they could use a little more bass. If I use them with my phone I can compensate for that with the phone's EQ

  The setup was pretty much flawless. No issues here. The sound quality was as decent as could be expected from earbuds. It doesn't compare to full size, over the ear headphones but I expected this

 Listening to music that has deep bass, I find that it's missing when I listen through these.  I wouldn't buy these again.

Very good but not quite perfect.

 So first off in terms of what you get inside the box, you've got the earbuds and their charging case, you've got a USB type C to type A cable and then you've got a selection of large and small and medium tips and then also different ear wings so in other words you can have ones with or without depending on your preference so it's great to see this. In terms of fits this means that they can be suitable for gym wear. Now in terms of their battery life, the charging case with the earbuds will provide up to 22 hours whilst the earphones themselves will last around 11 hours on a single charge which is actually pretty impressive. Now the earbuds themselves can be charged within the case obviously and the case itself can be wirelessly charged or via USB type C

 As for the mids you would normally think here that the mids are very much forward sounding as a result of a kind of subdued mid bass. Unfortunately that's not the case. The mids sound completely drowned out and completely recessed. If you're listening to vocal tracks so for example I was listening to the Eagles, Hotel California, the live version here I found that the vocals just sounded just really pushed back and just didn't come out to the foreground as they should do including including with the guitar strums that you hear throughout the throughout the song

**JDS LABS Atom - AMP&DAC+**

Lots of power, no coloring, does the job well. Cant compare it with same level combo's but, after Fiio E10, those are superb upgrade for me.

**Drop HD6XX + Sheepskin Pads**

Authority on the table. Great neutrality. Decent bass (Will get back to that later). Requires a lot of power, therefore hard to drive. Not something you would plug into a phone or a sound card. Wide soundstage and silky vocals. Whoever is interested in these, probably knows what to expect but, it's not something you would wear for fun listenings (like bassy electronic music)

**ATH-M50 (Not X)**

Its been on my table for around 10 years. Absolute tanks. Impressive bass response. Kills HD6XX in bass department. V shaped monitors(??). Probably my preference as most enjoyed sound among these. Everybody should listen to this at full volume once in their life time. JD Labs turns them into a small set of speakers :D

**Koss KPH30i**

I bought the hype, actually. Its a 30 dollars headphone. Nothing so special about this. Clear sound, thats for sure. Bass is not that impressive, which is expected though. Might look further about the grado pads upgrade, not sure worths the hassle..

**KZ ZS10 Pro + Foam eartips**

Another hype purchase (thanks Zeos). But these are incredible earphones. Clarity, soundstage, being easy to drive, bass (wow), vocals, trebles. I didnt expect it to be that good. JDS makes turns these into jet engine noise levels. Almost torn my eardrums once accidentally. Had tinnitus for a while.

**Sony 1000-xm3**

Comfortable to wear. Good noise cancellation. Soundwise, not close to the big boys on the table but, accaptable. Pretty V shaped, fun to listen. My go to on public transport and noisy places.

**Plantronics Backbeat 500**

There is something strangly good about these. It could be that these produce pretty well sub 50HZ response on low volumes. It sounds like JAMO speakers to me. Warm sound, nice low end.. But yeah, to be honest, this is a BT headphone you would chose for a birthday gift.

**Klipsh - The Fives**

Out of topic but, these are small yet powerfull speakers. Being an active speaker, it saves me a lot of hassle of having an amp, thick speaker cables, hifi furniture etc. It produces nice bass, however the trable is a bit weak. It definetely needs EQ correction on high frequencies. Good soundsage and great at low volumes

Whatsapp calls, team meetings, uncritical listening, public transport. Everywhere everyday. This is a piece of gear I always carry with me. I dont really care about the sound quality for those use cases but, these are actually not that bad.

**Cooler Master - MH630**

Bought it for gaming an discord calls but, these have issues with its microphone, picking up the sound of headphones. Not a driver or software issue. Sound? I dont know. Didnt pay that much attention nor listened to music with these. But in games, it performed well.

What tips are you using on the KZ ZS10 Pro ?  Defiantly my favorite of the chi-fi hype purchases.  I don't listen to much rock or electronic by when I do it's usually on these.  Just plain fun

My take on.. these

  Cons: - Poor signal. This is the entire reason for my 2 stars off. Like i said, 90% of my use is with one earbud, so it took me a while to figure this out. With both buds connected, the BT signal seems to be split and makes the range very low

I did a lot of research before going with the Galaxy Buds +. In all honesty, I really wanted to try the new 2020 Google earbuds, but they kept stringing a release date along and I needed something better now.  Keep in mind for my review: I'm not an audiophile. My $20 pair connected by a cable sound great to me

 So low in fact that with he phone in my pocket the BT signal degrades for a few seconds every few minutes to catch back up. I run 4-5 times a week and that's one of the times I use both ears. I simply can't use these wile running because I use a belt that holds my phone close to my hip an the buds can't get a clear connection. I have 4 other pairs of cheap BT sets, 2 of them literally only $5 backup pairs, and the Galaxy Buds + are the only ones that have this issue

  Keep in mind for my review: I'm not an audiophile. My $20 pair connected by a cable sound great to me. I was looking for BT earbuds with silicone pieces that seal in the ear that would work on planes and a great mic for business calls on the road. I won't have a good review of bass highs and lows or detailed sound quality

These are amazing...until you use both buds at once and split the bluetooth signal

 Now looking at the buds themselves, we have two tiny earbuds with an in-ear design with silicone tips, coming in three different sizes, in addition to a set of wingtips to ensure a proper and snug fit no matter the shape of your ears. And while physically not much has changed from the previous generation, we now have what looks to be a reflective finish on the outside of each earbud, which might be a bit more eye-catching, and this new aesthetic also made its way to the charging case which now has a glossy finish. The case also looks to have gotten a facelift in the design of its hinge, which makes for a much smoother experience when opening and closing to access your buds. The buds are very easy to pop into your ears with a simple twist, and while quite snug depending on your choice of ear tips and wingtips, they are very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods of time if needed

 So again, personally, I'm okay with it missing, and it's probably something that will come to a future iteration or can be found elsewhere on the market if it is a necessity for you. But with all things considered, can I recommend the Galaxy Buds Plus? Are they worth your hard-earned $150? My answer is this. If this is a product you're going to use every day, like you do your smartphone, then these are 100% worth the investment. The convenience of truly wireless, super simple and intuitive touch controls, exceptional battery life, customizable ambient sound modes, improved latency, and great sound quality, these are a no-brainer to pick up

Her main use would be phone calls so microphone quality is a priority. She only listens to podcast and music very occasionally, so they don't have to have great audio quality, just serviceable/acceptable.

Another main priority is stability and ease of use. My mom isn't very good with tech stuff so obviously I wouldn't want her to have to fiddle around with devices that constantly unpair/unsync/glitch out etc. With a budget of under 100$ (between 50-80 would be ideal) what are your recommendations? I was checking out the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 but I'm concerned by the very contrasting reviews, especially regarding connection stability and call quality.

Decent wireless earbuds for my mom under 100$?

 Ear fit: they even give you those wingtip things to try to guarantee a good fit, but on a 5 mile slow jog I have to nudge them back in several times, each time triggering the controls. I experimented with all the different sizes to no avail Bluetooth strength: Often choppy signal if kept even in my pants pocket

 I found the same articles you did, how the sound quality is better on these etc etc, but there are a few issues that were magically solved when I finally upgraded to airpods: Transparency mode: worthless if you're moving faster than 5mph because the mic PICKS UP WIND. I'd like to be able to hear my surroundings while biking for safety but it's like someone blowing into a microphone.
