 Anyway, picking up the S10 Plus, you really do get a sense when you're holding and using it that this is a premium and really well-made phone. The Sm+ really does pack in all the bells and whistles. We've got stereo speakers between a half mil headphone jack, a dual SIM card slot with micro SD support em screen fingerprint reader face ID plus ip68, water and dust resistance and despite its size, the S10 Plus is actually slightly thinner and lighter than the S9. Plus, the new prism colors also look pretty cool

 Plus, because it's an ultrasonic 3d scanner, it doesn't matter if your fingers a bit, we're too a bit greasy. Ill still work. Battery life on the S10 Plus is also very impressive and goes toe-to-toe with the Mate 20 Pro, which was the reigning champion in my battery tests by the end of a normal working day with moderate use I have about 35% of the battery left. I Also really like the battery optimizer which seems to do everything behind the scenes in order to give you the best battery life but also the best performance when you need it

 More importantly though, it's the software. I Do generally prefer stock Android where possible, but Samsung's 1 UI feels much cleaner and more modern than previous versions and coming from hallways Emui on the Meet 20 Pro: Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this. It's slick, responsive, and once you enable the reduce animation setting, turn night mode on, lower the screen zoom size a little bit and we map the big Spooky, you're good to go! I Also really like just how seamless unlocking the phone can be. I tend to use the face unlock feature face ID and combine with the lift to wake gesture which is enabled by default

 Battery life on the S10 Plus is also very impressive and goes toe-to-toe with the Mate 20 Pro, which was the reigning champion in my battery tests by the end of a normal working day with moderate use I have about 35% of the battery left. I Also really like the battery optimizer which seems to do everything behind the scenes in order to give you the best battery life but also the best performance when you need it. We also get fast charging and fast wireless charging plus a new feature called Power Share which basically transforms the S10 Plus into a big Qi wireless power mat and then just pop any Qi compatible device on top from Galaxy buds or the phone smartwatches. It's pretty clever, although just like Wai-wait reverse wireless charging, it is also very slow at the very least

The Exynos 9820 SoC is a powerhouse too, but it will likely rank behind the Snapdragon 855 when that reaches the market later this year. The LTE modem is also fast, but we would have liked to see support for more frequency bands. Verdict

 You know it did come out with one Ui one. If you guys remember and I will tell you you know it has improved a lot throughout the years and I still think it's a really good performing phone for the most part. The only thing that even is slightly weird with it sometimes is that compared to the phones that we have nowadays, it did not have a 120 Hertz display, so it makes things feel a lot more. You know, choppy here and there

 The Galaxy S22 that just came out has a 3700 millibar battery, so this battery is bigger than that one. I think it's still smaller than the S22 Plus, but still, this is a big size battery. It has degraded a little bit over time and it's definitely not brand new anymore, but it's still a good size battery and if you need it to last you a day, I'm sure I'm sure it could probably do that. Of course you know it's a little bit older now and you know the batteries degraded, but I still think it's pretty good for sure

 To be honest, that phone is a legendary phone for sure. But the S10 Plus is still a pretty good phone too in terms of performance segment. So in terms of that, that covers it up there. Now in terms of the battery life

 It's approaching three years old and really anything I've done with it, it's been perfectly fine. I think if you need to buy a phone and you need it to last for however long, then I think you probably won't be complaining about the performance of this phone. I think it's pretty good. You know I think it's not anything you're going to brag about, but I do think you know for the age that it is, it's actually kind of impressive

My 3 year old Pixel 2 is adequately fast and poses no issues in my day to day performance. Benchmarks aren't really everything. You will not find your typical Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra / OnePlus 8 Pro to be almost 30% slower than an iPhone 12 Pro if we take raw numbers into consideration. The performance is going to be really good for the consumers on either phone. 

What we really need at this point is efficiency from the smartphone processors. We have come leaps and bounds farther in terms of the performance but it has always been integrated with a larger battery to counter any loss of daily usage life. We still are able to only use the smartphones for an average of 5 to 6 hours of screen time which is inexplicable. Smartphone batteries have gone from 2000mah to 4000+ mah as a standard and yet there's no real world implication of it. We need efficient CPUs - that is the need of the hour.

Im pretty sure this is on xiaomi and not on the sd888. Performance with the 865 in the rog phone is way better with 51 fps on average and way less jank. The snapdragon 888 isn't a joke, xiaomis optimization is

I'm extremely happy with my Mi 10T Pro. Snapdragon 865 is an absolute performance and battery champ. By far one of the best chips they ever made.
Seeing this... I'm kind of not surprised. iPhones suffer from poor thermals and throttling too. You can only push so much before you get worse efficiency and sustained performance.
Still I'm thinking updates and newer chip revisions will sort of fix such issues. Moreover, it's an early chip.

Xiaomi phones have always lagged behind other SD equipped phones of the same tier, it'll definitely perform better with proper cooling and **an optimized software implementation**.

<div class="md"><p>So we have our first Snapdragon 888 Preview  through the Xiaomi MI11. It&#39;s important to keep in mind that these are early benchmarks, and you need to take these with a grain of salt. Maybe other phones have better cooling or a firmware update can help.  The Mi11 is the first Snapdragon 888 phone widely available, so it is the first SD 888 phone we have data on.</p>

<p>The performance is comparable to an Apple A13 in Geekbench (at least in multicore, although the 888 is closer to an A12 in single core), but the power consumption is up over the Snapdragon 865.  In some areas, performance per watt has actually regressed. </p>

<p>Keep in mind too that longer periods of high temperatures means greater likelihood of thermal throttling.  The review has a case of throttling in Genshin Impact, which for those unaware is a popular gacha game. </p>

<p>This will be important as this SOC will be used by most of the big Android 2021 flagships. </p>

My big problem with the Samsung phones: they take a long time to upgrade their Android versions. Meanwhile, I get timely updates to iOS on my iPhone, updates that will keep the phone viable for at least 4-5 years. Samsung could have solved a lot of their issues if they just went with Android One (plus their own camera software) instead of Android with Samsung's own *One UI* interrface.
