After that, I had a Samsung S7 Galaxy Edge, and simply put, the downgrade from the Note 7 that I just lost, in addition to the phone itself just not being what I really wanted, and ended up being probably the worst Phone I've ever owned, worse than my LG env, LG env 3, Motorola Rival, and iPhone 4/4S (not sure which I had here). After my Samsung ended up breaking from drops, I needed a new phone, at a decent price.

I've used Samsungs, LG's, and pixels and to this day I'm using both a Pixel XL and Pixel 3, both still really smooth performing. Can't say that about my old LG G3 and my Samsung Galaxy S7 is pretty much a potatoe , barely usable even after multiple factory resets.

Still rocking a Samsung Galaxy S7. It's in a similar situation—stuck on Android 8 with the final security update in September 2020. If it weren't my only phone, I'd try a custom ROM. I use very few apps (there's only 32 GB of internal storage after all).

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S7 for 5 years. Nowadays the battery life is screwed up (I need to charge it at least 2 times a day) and it overheats occasionally. What I love about this phone, however, is that it's extremely sturdy (it survived a 3-story fall among others) - so what I value, when considering a new device, are durability and battery life (I don't use my phone extensively, don't really use it for gaming).

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S7 for 5 or 6 years. I love it to death, but it barely keeps a charge anymore and the processor is worn out to the degree that it crashes when I try to take videos, so I'm thinking about replacing it sometime soon.

I needed to replace my Samsung Galaxy S7 several months back. I looked at most of the Android One phones on the market at the time and they all sucked in one way or another. That was really frustrating as I did not want to go back to Samsung, but I ended up doing that in the long run as the Galaxy S10 had everything I was looking for in a phone.
