Samsung’s latest tablets are saddled by familiar problems

— the Tab S7 and S7 Plus have no trouble lasting 10 hours or more between charges. But when I use them as workstations in place of a laptop, that stamina plummets to less than four or five hours. That’s not out of line with my experience on the iPad Pro under the same use cases, but it does mean that I’m charging the tablet at least once or twice a day when I’m working

I was on the same situation, I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ with the keyboard cover and the form factor was amazing. That tablet was more than enough for anything that did not require too much computing power, but I didn't like the software so I sold it. As of today, the closest and most functional thing we can get that can run Linux is a Microsoft Surface Pro (ideally the latest model, but not everything works yet).

Plus it's right at home with my android ecosystem.
