 It's very easy just at a moment's notice, just open up, double press and you are right into the action. Personally, I think they should add a third lens like they have on the Z Fold 3 that gives you at least a two times zoom or three times optical zoom. But for the average user, I really don't see any problems with the camera. It's been very enjoyable for me personally

 We have a primary lens and an ultra wide lens. And I found in my everyday use that these are very good cameras. So because this phone is portable, lightweight, easy to open and access, I find myself actually doing a lot of pictures and videos on this phone overall. And it's very enjoyable to hold because it's not as wide

 So it's going to be kind of tough for the video's sake here, but you can see that you can fully play a game here on this inner display. If you do need to do something a little more close or a little more intensive, then you can just open it right up and you are right into the game. Now, the final thing I need to touch on with the Z Flip 3 are the cameras. So we have a dual camera set up here

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 - 9 Months Later!

Having used both (4xl and 4a pixel side, Z Flip 3 and S10 Samsung side) I can say the only thing I missed from the Pixels was the camera quality of the portrait-style shots. Everything else was an easy win for Samsung (OneUI, videography, DeX, speed, a less painful Android 12 transition, etc..)

I am a Pixel 5a user. I was an iPhone user for a decade before I switched to Android with Pixel 5a. I really like the Android OS and it's user friendliness. Although the Pixel is way more customizable (not just appearance but functionally too) than an iPhone, I am not quite sure if Pixel is a great choice. I like it, but I see that Samsung is more customizable than the Pixel and has more useful features. The reason I chose Pixel when switching from iPhone is because I wanted to have Android experience close to iPhone, and hence chose "Stock Android." I wanted to know some strong reasons why someone would not use a Samsung and stick with Pixel. This way I can make better decisions.

 In the world of Android, if you want a comparable experience to the Apple ecosystem, right now Samsung is the company that can best deliver that for you. And the thing that helps bring all of these devices together is One UI. Over the course of the past six months, the Flip 3 has received quite a few software updates, including One UI's take on Android 12, which allows you to customize the color theming on the phone a bit more, which I like. One UI is a solid version of Android with a lot of extras built on top

 So for me, the 3300 milliamp hour battery, it's been adequate for me and I don't need to charge it before the end of the day. I'm typically seeing around 25% battery left, but if you're a heavy user, you're likely going to want to charge this phone before the end of the day. Next cameras. Overall I'd say the cameras are decent on the Z Flip 3

Have oneplus 9 pro and I decided right away I'll never ever get another phone that has any curve in the screen. You can't get proper glass to keep scratches away no matter how many you try.  Even if it means getting slightly less battery or features for the flat display I'll take that. Pre ordered the regular 6 as it looks similar in design to the oneplus 9 with flat display.  I think it will feel similar to that but with a massively better camera system.

I was also just in Verizon an played with both for a bit. The Pro is definitely a large phone, but you're right it's not unmanageable. It feels very... Samsung? The regular 6 definitely feels more "Google".

Size wasn't really too much of an issue for me ~~I had a nexus 6~~. So decided to go to best buy today and feel them in hand, and really liked the feel of the pro. The curve is pretty slight and didn't feel as bad as I was expecting. Looks like the spigen rugged armor has enough lip to protect it mostly.

Ended up cancelling my 6 pre-order and re-ordered a pro.

Thanks for posting/sharing these impressions. When Pixel camera systems were equal between the "regular" and "XL" models, I typically went with the regular-sized Pixel as I prefer a smaller form factor. But since I want the best mobile camera (and battery, if possible)...I'm going P6 Pro this time.

Had no problem handling/using the Flip 3, and assume it will be the same experience with the P6 Pro...can't wait.

My visit to Best Buy was very worthwhile. There’s nothing like being able to evaluate these two first hand. Both are very similar in several areas, like build quality which is very good. Much better than my Pixel 5 and earlier models I’ve owned. 

They’re less difference than anticipated between the displays. When viewing the same content on each, there’s not a huge difference. The Pro is a tiny bit sharper and brighter, but next to my Pixel 5, the 6 is a huge improvement. Difference in refresh rates are also minimal. 

Due to the crisp colorful flat screen, I do prefer it over the rounded sides of the Pro screen. Reminds me of the curved display of my last Galaxy, a display that I found annoying. 

Choosing between the 6 and 6 Pro should be relatively easy since neither have shortcomings to avoid. It’s just a matter of how important the differences are in camera’s, size, flat or curved display. Both are excellent phones.

My case arrived and when comparing to my Pixel 3 it's not stupidly big in comparison, due to thin bevels not much in it.

I have a Pixel 5 now and i absolutely love the size but hate how shitty the performance is. The battery life is great and it's been nice using a phone this size, but again i hate how laggy it gets sometimes. Still debating if I want this P6P, the regular pixel 6 looks terrible.

I am getting the regular 6 it looks like they just filled in the forehead on my 4xl with screen I love it and I don't think I could do a phone bigger than then the 6 I know it's only a little bigger but after 2 years with the 4xl I can imagine having something bigger than this

Edit: also I see everyone talking about ltpo and bigger battery I think they will be the same if not the regular being better as the display is only 1080p and the pros is 1440p I know the ltpo will help but pushing that many pixels on that giant display will definitely hurt the battery and it's only 400 mah bigger than the regular 6

Thanks for sharing. I pre-ordered the pro today. I like bigger phones and the high refresh rate, battery, and RAM were good enough reasons choosing the Pro over the normal.

I just got my 6 Pro and I was surprised at how tall and narrow it looked compared to my 4a 5G. My case is being delivered in a few hours but without it, the phone is sleek and totally manageable. 

I've got big hands and like big phones but this doesn't feel huge, just sizable. I also went from the big note 20 to the 4a 5G but had a 5 briefly before returning it because it was just too small.

Thank for that. I ordered the Sorta Sunny Pro and was slightly doubting my decision. I think I'm happy now but I must say I think the 6 sorta seaform looks the best. 

I dunno wether the extra camera and specs are worth the extra cost tbh but I just went for it anyway

I have a note 10+ and I returned my Samsung s21 ultra because it was smaller than the note 10+ and didn't have a pen.

The Pixel Pro is smaller than the Note 10+, and I would say it feels like the S21U in the hand.  No note option and S22 coming next year so I am going to roll with the Pixel Pro for now.

<div class="md"><p>I took a chance that the phones were on display and they were.  My primary purpose was to determine if the Pro was too big and not easily handled.  I have to say that I soon as I picked up the Pro and saw it side by side with the regular 6, my concerns were completely gone.  The Pro is perfectly manageable and I don&#39;t think there will be any issues with the size of it.  It&#39;s only slightly bigger than the 6 in height, the width wasn&#39;t perceptible.  It has a very sleek and tall design, very Samsungish.  The link has some side-by-side pics and one with my cased-up Pixel 3XL in the middle for some scale.</p>

<p>I also had no issues with the side panels on the screen.  There are not bad at all.  I purposefully tried to register some false touches and was not able to once.  Once concern that I had is gone.</p>

<p>They are both great phones, but I have to say, if you&#39;re looking for a premium feel and high end device, the Pro is the way to go.   The regular 6 is a tremendous value, but if the extra $ is doable, the Pro is a no brainer in my opinion.</p>

 Battery life is horrible if you have 5g turned on, phone is very fast but screen does struggle with scrolling even with max processing power turned on.

Only for infrequent cell phone users
