 If you're looking for a TV this year, I really recommend the Q60R as it's very reliable, the smart features work wonders, it's smooth, they have great apps to download in it and all the additional things that it provides such as Samsung TV Plus and everything, it works great. My son who's 3 years old, he loves it, my husband, he loves playing PlayStation 4 on it and as well as using it for the regular TV functions as well.

 So the first thing I notice when I'm unboxing the TV is the user manual for it, also it's a very nice packaging that they have set up here, each has an individual section, has the remote, the cord, and batteries, and also a quick setup guide of how to install the TV setup, it's a two man job to take it in and out of the box and set up the equipment. As you can see here for the 65 inch class, it weighs without a stand, 57.3 pounds, with the stand it's 58.2 pounds, the sound output is 20 watts, here's the power button to turn the TV on and off, the one two three is used to change the channel, enter a pin or enter a zip code, etc, this is the voice command, Bixby, the ambient mode button to return, the smart hub, the home screen basically, your stop and play button, volume up and down, channel up and down, Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu

Want to buy a 55 inch budget tv for casual use, some gaming (ps4 + pc, no fps) and movie use. 
Im not too sure if ill have time to use the tv enough, maybe watch videos on youtube at at max or game for an hour or so - never owned a tv (currently own a 32" monitor for competitive fps games) and i just want one to sit back on the bed and relax.
Having said that, it must have clear text and chroma 4-4-4 if i ever want to sit back and do programming (i like tinkering with stuff) or maybe take some work related calls.
I will not be using the smart features of the tv. Must have more than one hdmi port and wireless screen mirroring and bluetooth would be a definite plus although im not so sure how good the tech is.
Budget is max 60k, can stretch a bit here and there.

PS - Also if someone can recommend a nice lapboard?

Tv for casual gaming and movies

Good image and sound quality with one absolutely irritating flaw.

 Sometimes when I talk on the remote control to go to an app, it couldn't do it. For example, "Bixby go to HBO GO". It asks me to setup cable TV in order to do that. The navigation is is bad

  Sometimes while watching TV, the sound stops for a few seconds as if I was doing a voice command on the remote, which I didn't do. I would see a Bixby message on the screen telling me it doesn't understand, but no voice command was made.  It works with Alexa though. And it's easier to use Alexa than Bixby

Not My Best Choice

I'm planning on buying a CX/C1 during black Friday and a series x, ps5 too and need a soundbar to fit under my TV.

Don't really have a price limit but some soundbar prices in my country are ridiculous (sennheiser ambeo goes for \~4k usd here) so lets say \~1k usd but I can stretch it higher if I think its worth it for me.

Basically since my room isn't symmetrical and I plan on placing my TV next to the wall I wont have space for side firing speakers, so bars like 950a are out.

Don't know if I can get surround satellites since they'll have to sit on the sofa itself and I have no room behind it. If you think I can still benefit from them even though they wont be at ear level etc then I'll consider getting a soundbar packaged with them.

I was kind of looking at the klipsch cinema series but heard it has issues with EQ etc.

I added some simple schematics to get a feel for what my living room is like. The 1.45m is from the wall until the door, so the soundbar has to fit in that space.

Need a soundbar recommendation for series x and cx/c1 TV.

  The remote doesn't have a backlight, but there's not that many buttons so it's relatively easy to memorize for situations whee you're in the dark.  I'm a big user of chromecast, and interestingly enough I can cast content on YouTube and Netflix from my phone to the TV, but for Hulu and HBO, there's no option to cast. I'm going to buy another chromecast to remedy this.
