You don't get the same perfect black levels as on the S95B, but instead, the QN90B uses Mini LED backlighting behind an LCD panel, and it gets extremely bright. With its fantastic reflection handling, you won't have issues using it in a well-lit room, even with intense light. If you prefer using it in a dark room, it still has a high native contrast ratio, and its Mini LED backlighting provides a great local dimming feature that further deepens blacks.

 This TV is the successor to last year's Samsung QN90A. It's a premium 4K mini-LED TV sitting above the Samsung QN85B. The Samsung QN90B looks similar to the QN90A from last year. It's stylish with a center-mounted stand and the main difference from last year's model is that the materials are gray instead of black

 A low input lag is also important for a responsive feel when playing video games, and thankfully, this TV is remarkable in this regard. You won't feel any delay whether you're gaming with 60Hz or 120Hz signals. Speaking of gaming, this TV supports all the common signals up to 120Hz in 4K, and you won't have any issues playing games from the Xbox Series X and PS5. It does support variable refresh rates too, which is good for a tear-free gaming experience on both consoles, and VRR works without any issues

 I just wish I could remap some of those keys, and I mostly wish I could remap some of those keys because I am not totally in love with the new Tizen layout. I don't like how much clicking I have to do just to get to my input list, and I also felt like I had to do too much clicking to get to the picture settings menu. In fact, overall, just too much clicking around. I want a different layout

On the other hand, Tizen remains really powerful, and the new smart calibration feature, which uses certain phones with great cameras to help calibrate the TV, totally does a decent job. Great for TV, not good for PC desktop work

 There's a nice cable management system along the back here so you can run your HDMI, your power cables, and keep those nice and tucked away. Another thing that sets the Samsung apart from the rest is the remote. It's hands down my favorite remote on a television. I really like the feel

 Wouldn't recommend it, but having both Amazon and Google in this television built in is really cool. This TV also has the ability to listen for a wake word without using the remote so you can say that word out into thin air and the TV will respond without having to speak into the clicker. It allows the TV to get really bright and also have really small local dimming zones. Now Samsung doesn't tell me exactly how many local dimming zones there are, but it has improved the technology this year to reduce blooming

 Now the clicker has these shortcut buttons for Netflix and a few other streaming services, but they're not garish and bright and the overall design really looks very good. I also appreciate that the volume control and the channel controls are these kind of like flippy little things instead of a standard button, so a nice little difference there. Of course there's a mic so you can use voice control features on this remote as well. Samsung does include Alexa and Google Assistant as well as its Bixby voice feature

Samsung QN90B QLED TV Review 2022: One of the Best and Brightest TVs Ever!

 We have a cable box but almost never use it, we pretty much stream everything. In addition to streaming, I also use it for gaming on a PS4 and PS5, and as a monitor for my media PC. I would say I mostly use the PC for streaming rather than the apps on the TV, more on that below.  Here are the things I don't like about it:  - The UI is trash

 The menu on this TV is busy, limited in terms of customization, has ads on it that I can't get rid of, and has a whole separate menu for gaming systems. It doesn't allow adding gaming systems to the quick access on the main menu screen (or at least I haven't been able to get it to do this) which means in order to switch inputs to the gaming consoles, I need to do a bunch of navigating with the remote. It's frustrating.  - The settings are a nightmare

Great TV, but it loses a star because the UI is TERRIBLE

 To access this, just hold down the play and pause button on the remote when you're on your gaming input, and it'll bring up the menu. From here, you can see how many frames per second you're running, you can adjust the input lag speed, you can even cater the picture processing based on the genre of game that you're playing. And those HDMI 2.1 inputs on the back offer variable refresh rates to help prevent screen tearing

 If you like the new versions of WebOS and Google TV, you'll like this one as well. For voice assistants, this one's got Bixby, Alexa, and Google all built in, so you don't need anything else to use voice commands. Plus, it also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. One feature I really like, and they've had this for several years now, is Samsung TV+
