0 would be for me as 3.0 seems to to be very smooth and responsive (I've tested this extensively by button mashing continuously for 5mins).

**UPDATE 06/17/2021:** Their customer service seems to be very responsive. They released a new version of their software/firmware v20210608. I installed this firmware and performed software and firmware update. All functions seem to be performing well! Looks like they fixed the issues previously mentioned earlier! The only downfall is that I am still getting my infinite repeating keys on bluetooth 5

 It required a different stroke for me to register "2".  Pro: Slim & super lightweight (Conversely, not sure how good the battery is); Bluetooth pairing & reconnecting after sleep are alright, not as great as Logitech's; solid Aluminum body(the bottom is not) with USB-C; Personally, I like the "esc", "tab, & "=" on the top of the numbers although I do not agree on the exact placements of these keys.

This is the sleekest keypad I've ever seen. It's so slim that when tucking it into a laptop bag it takes up almost no space plus its extremely lightweight. Like so many other accessories these days it required no driver install, it just needed to be paired via Bluetooth and that was super simple as well. ► When pairing look for "Satechi Bluetooth Keypad"

 Somehow I unintentionally pressed the clear button and could not get the numbers working again. I was going to tuck it away for a rainy day and play with it then but decided to give it one more go, pressed all of the buttons in sequence and viola, numbers appeared again. For a regular Mac user, this might make sense but I seldom use a Mac these days.  The keys feel good, there isn't a lot of throw on them but they give fed back, I know when I've pressed a button far enough

 The dimpled silver appearance fits right in with so many different laptops, not just Mac Books. Besides laptops, it also works sitting next to my TenKeyless keyboard. ► The design here makes it hard not to think it was made by Apple.  So besides Apple, it also works great with other operating systems

 So far, Satechi is zero for two. I have bought two of these keypads and neither has worked. Both were dead on arrival.  My previous numeric keypad was a cheaper model by a rival company and only lasted a year

The build quality is excellent and it feels like it’s an OEM product even though it’s not. It’s slim, compact and lightweight so you can toss it in your backpack or briefcase for work or school. I appreciate that it connect wirelessly via Bluetooth instead of a USB dongle or direct wired connection. It pairs easily and you can use it for your Apple laptop or tablet and it works with Windows as well

Product was delivered fast, arrived two days earlier than projected. this is the 2nd extended keypad we've had from Satechi, the first was good (model #ST-WKPB) but felt cheap plastic and had a tenancy to insert many copies of a number from time to time when pushing a button. this new one feels sturdier and so far (only have had it two days so far) has not repeated the same issue with the previous model. so far we are very pleased overall with this new model
