1. Saucony Triumph 18: Great for Recovery/Easy long run.

I’m going with the Saucony Triumph 18, the Brooks Ghost 13, the Brooks Hyperion Tempo, and the Saucony Endorphin Pro. Now you’re locked in and you’re at the mercy of whatever product development teams decide to change, tweak, add, or eliminate between now and 2026. If you’d have done this in 2018 and picked the Pegasus turbo, you now have to either run in the Tempo Next or remove that shoe from rotation, so either way probably not what you’d have hoped for, and you’re still locked in for another two years of Nike throwing darts at a dartboard except the dartboard is your feet and knees.

Next up is the Saucony Triumph 18. Once again, was looking for a shoe to rotate with my Clifton 7s (which are pretty much dead and need to be replaced). First thing first is that this shoe (visually) reminds me of the old Vans I used to have back when I was a teenage. The poofy laces, cushioned upper, and well, cushioned everything definitely has a larger footprint.

I’m a 39 year old male. My current shoe rotation includes the Atreyus, Saucony Ride 13’s, Saucony Triumph 18’s, and Saucony Axons. I think these shoes feel great underfoot. I’m typically a Saucony person so I don’t have a lot of experience running in shoes with this kind of road feel and I like it a lot.
