 I was extremely disappointed when I held my now two Bear Paws side by side for comparison. The new one made in China is thinner in every way. The blade is thinner, the rosewood handles are thinner. Even the brass that the blade rests in when closed is thinner

 I can whip this fixed blade knife out in about one second. Much faster than trying to unsnap the folding knife case and using two hands to open the blade and two hands to unlock the blade and close it. Buck gained a new customer and Schrade permanently lost one. Goodbye Chinese cheap junk

 The blade is thinner, the rosewood handles are thinner. Even the brass that the blade rests in when closed is thinner. The blade itself rocks side to side when closed making a clicking sound and feels cheap. The old one says Schrade USA on the blade, the new one says LB7

 Hopefully that shows enough - you can see on the camera, but just beautiful construction, and we have very similar to the buck 110. We have a large clip point hollow ground blade with a nail neck, and this one has just a very light. Swedge or chamfer to the top part of the swedge here or clip very beautiful blade shape very nice, and this knife is used and appears. It has been sharpened lightly, but still a great knife, and I have to say that this one feels a hair more comfortable in the hand and but then the buck 110

 She'S they'll develop like a green, gunk or patina on there, and I don't know if someone cleaned that off of the piece of sandpaper or what, but for the most part, this knife is beautiful, except for the scratches that someone used on it. We have solid nickel. Excuse me in habit of seeing that we have solid brass bolsters and liners, and they appear to be all one piece. I don't see any seams in this bolster and brass liner and they've run all the way across to the back and the same on the other side

 I could share it with you and it makes a nice package to carry with you on your belt or you can even throw it in a pack or whatever, but it is heavy, it is beefy, it's solid brass, metal and stainless and wood, and it just speaks Of quality and durability, very nice lock back design, locking blade you have to depress this button on the back to close the blade.  So here's the here's, the thing: here's, what I'm bringing you today, I'm bringing you something cool man, I'm bringing you a blade. It'S called Uncle Henry. What are the letters for it? Lb7? Alright, the Uncle Henry lb7 there is and Uncle Henry is basically a shrade line because back in 1946 1946, that's when Henry bear and his brother went bought out the Schrade company, who you know they were making knives and they were the largest knife makers in America. Back in the olden days, and so when trade started tanking, they went over and bought the company, and that's why we have Uncle Henry

 So all those and they're all the same style. All the same, but different right and they're all off the 110, just like this one is all up to 110, but this one right here we're gon na find out if it stacks up so far with all these other guys that I have here and then at Some point: during a week we're gon na go ahead and find out which one's best in Y and how they all stack up against each other. But we don't know if we don't first test this one. So I say we get out there and we see what this little knife can do come on with me

 This one hasn't done it we'll see, and it did not - and I have to say of all of the all of the folding hunters that I've done every single one of them on the conning has has disengaged what during baton is the first one that didn't. I know I do have a leg up, a very tiny hint of play in this play, but it's a very little hint of play, but torquing this thing over go pry action and no bending the tip not so bad. Let'S give it a 4 foot drop, see we're the weight is not so bad, it's where it should be. It'S in the rear

 Also, the thread of the leather sheath started unraveling after one day of use. I think I am going to use crazy clue to see if I can stop the thread from further unraveling. Otherwise it is nice leather.

 The blade itself is skewed to one side and touch the braze plates when you close it. I guess one side of the blade gets sharpened that way, lol. The blade tip is shaved to one side. One of my $10 knives is better made

Good material but poorly made

 Now you'll notice, this one doesn't have it and i don't know why, but either way this is a wonderful knife. You can see that the brass bolsters are one single piece, unlike the chinese made ones they make now, and the spring is really nice and tight still locks with authority. You'Ll notice that this one has never been sharpened. This actually has the original edge on it and i don't plan on sharpening it either

 This is a very chunky. Very good knife feels great in the hand, has a little bit different lines than your buck 110, but either way. It is a very good and handsome knife, but i don't plan on using this one anytime soon for any heavy work because they don't make anymore. But thank you so much for checking this knife out with me

Don’t expect the old Schrade quality.

 I managed to, when I've got this knife, another thing that I did to it was put a nice edge on it. The current, the current, the edge that it came with was pretty buggered up and I put a nice polished edge on there. It's pretty sharp. Came out real nice

 After I do the shreds, I'm going to be getting into some Ontario rat series. We're going to do Ontario rat, and then I'm going to be doing some new knives that I picked up that are going to be coming on the channel. All right guys, stay tuned for some new stuff. I'll talk to you later

 The blades on the Schrage are a little bit thicker than the bucks, the newer bucks anyways, and they were perfect for piercing. They had just enough belly on their clip points for skinning out game. See if I can show you that green on that wood. You could see, you see the reflection there

 CR5 something. But anyways, we're going to be talking about this today. There's your Uncle Henry signature. I love the way they do that with the Shrade Plus and LB7 USA on the tang there
