Seiko MM200

This is pretty much the perfect dive watch for me, I love the brushed hands, the sunburst dial, and how the flat sapphire crystal sits flush against the bezel insert with no bevel. Parts:. \- Case: Crystaltimes CT712 38mm SKX013 compatible case, no crown guards. \- Bezel: Crystaltimes CT236 coin edge bezel.

Doubt mine would've survived so many culls if it was still on that whack ass bracelet. You can always revert it, and it'll be in better condition if you're not wearing the OEM. I have mine on a strapcode oyster which is so much heavier and nicer. Strapcode clasps aren't great either, too thick, so I swapped in a good seiko clasp (one off my first gen MM200 which I always wear on rubber).

Meh I have an MM200 and I think that line is worth the $450-$650 it usually commands. Also the SRP777, the classic Turtle has an MSRP of $475. The new "king" turtle has an MSRP of $595 and has ceramic and sapphire, etc., so I don't think the price jump is too outrageous, and if you're paying MSRP for a Seiko you're a chump who deserves it anyway lol.

If you want to go to the Seiko route I’d get a MM200 but I wouldn’t bother with a Turtle or Samurai. They’re inferior to almost everything at this price point. Also modding is great but becomes expensive quickly especially if you have to pay someone to do it for you.
