 You must connect this to your window so the hot air is able to exit the room which allows the air conditioner to actually work Now, Thankfully, it is made out of high quality materials and it's also very easy to adjust so that it is the ideal length and takes up as little space as possible. I like that you can wrap the power cable around two hooks on the back of the unit so that you're able to neatly stow away the unit when not in use. Now I'm not an electrician, but it looks like they have some sort of breaker on the plug, which is definitely nice for added safety. I really like how simple and straightforward the remote is

At the end of July my wife called the company to request warranty assistance via a number found for them on google. She was able to get ahold of somebody who stated that a claim was submitted and we would receive an email within 24-48hrs

  What was an issue is that at the end of July 2022, It stopped working. AC was luke warm at best in the middle of the a Southern US summer.  Instructions are simple. I was to preface this also stating this unit was NOT heavily used.  The noise level is moderate (it is not quiet) but can be tolerated by turning up the TV or surround sound. I did not expect it to be super quiet so this is not an issue

Mixed reviews this far.

 Know that it's a good investment to cool down a small room if you're running a room or like a you know, living room, not the whole house. It's not gonna work good for the whole house, but I guess might save money for you something. So yeah, any questions comments: leave it below and I'll get back to you right away.  Those are only controls that's on the top right there. I tested this basically I had a 77 degrees and then I dropped it down to 74. It takes about a minute for the the Condesa to start running. It doesn't run automatically right away

 not not allowed, not allowed at all although I have it set to know if I set too high mid just pushes it out. cure the fan going a little bit louder, put it on high, a little bit louder, not too loud, him leave it I'm just gonna leave it on low for now. All right, if you leave it on low I Notice that you can hear the condenser or the motor condenser a lot louder. If you put it any higher mid high it'll the fan will sound louder

 I'll have to see my electrical bill to see if there's any difference in power consumption compared to my old unit.  I would recommend this to anybody looking for a portable AC cooler for a single room, or two adjoining rooms.

 Other than the support, which I dinged them 1-star on, this has been a god send for my office and our bedroom since our central AC unit sucks in these rooms.

 It took me emailing them twice over 5 days to get a response. And that was after I threatened to return the unit. Frankly, support should be responding to customer inquiries within 24 hours. If you can't do that, than hire more people

Great Product, But Support is Lacking

Unit is good, but customer service is exceptional

 Also, there’s a drainage tube, so KUDOS! Again, no thank you to to Delonghi.  -Unit is POWERFUL! I have the 12,000 BTU one that puts Mr. Freeze to shame.  I’ve only had it for a days, so still to early to decide that it’s a really good unit, but I will say, it is a BEAST so far!

46 sq ft space. In retrospect, I now know that BTU number makes a difference. My model, 8,000 BTUs, does not cool the room off quickly. One time I ran it for over two hours and it dropped the temp down to a mere 7 degrees; when I shut it off the room regained those degrees within 5 minutes

  I didn’t do my research, instead assuming that because of the relatively small room space the lower output would be fine. My advice would be to spend the extra money and get a higher BTU output (at least higher than 8,000) to make a difference.
