 Now I'll say that this is one of the more creative and cleaner designs that we've seen from Sligar who also make the highly optimized Cerberus and SM series cases. This is the first time that I've seen these softly brushed and thinner panels from them and I definitely do prefer it. There are still some spots that do look a bit rough around the edges but for the most part this is the highest quality case that I've seen them produce. One thing that does look a bit out of place here though is that cheap power button which you could probably buy for around 50 cents at your local electronics shop

I personally would have liked to see something a bit more premium to suit the rest of the design. Another part that looks a bit out of place is the platform or stand that the SV590 is intended to be screwed onto and the reason for this is that the bottom panel is not completely flat

 While the end case M1 is kind of portable at 12.5 liters the SV590 isn't portable at all but still this thermal result is very impressive. On the note of GPU thermals seeing as that side panel ventilation is relatively blocked off it does lead to a warmer result than we'd like. This also means that the GPU thermals benefit quite a lot by an increase in radiator fan speed at which point we can tie the NZXT H1

 This case here is one that I've been waiting to take a look at for quite some time because as far as I know, this is the smallest case on the market that can fit a 360 mil radiator. In fact, it's the only ITX case that I know of to fit a radiator that large and that's a pretty impressive spec because some of the more compact mid-tower cases out there like the NZXT H510, they can't even fit 360 mil rads and here we have it in a case that's just 18 liters in volume. Now I won't spoil too much but if you do need a small form factor case with some of the best CPU thermal performance that you can get, this should definitely be one to consider but despite those very impressive thermals and radiator compatibility, there are quite a few things that you should know before you build in this case. So here it is, the Sligar SV590, an enthusiast approach on the vertical small form factor PC case and before we dive in, I'll just say that I'm a big fan of this vertical orientation

 So I'll set that aside for now, and then I'm able to drop my SFX power supply into place. This is a Silverstone model, the 650G. So this is an SFX power supply, and that is what Sliger recommends due to the size constraints here. So, there we go, we've got the fan towards the exterior, I drop it into place

The next step is actually to get screws in here. Now, my standard screwdriver just barely fits through these vents, although I'm going to have to work at an angle

 First off, you need a CPU liquid cooler. You cannot use air cooling for this. So forget about low profile air cooling. That's just not going to work in this case

I’m looking to build my next custom SFF custom water build. I challenge thee community to save me from what is most likely a tragic cooling nightmare. 

There is no easy answer here. I already have a T1 and an NCase M1. Here’s the constraints:

I’m looking to cool a 3090 and 10900k. 
I want a small footprint. 
I’m happy to undervolt but I’d rather use it to reduce fan noise. 
I really want a glass side that will show off the 3090 in that sexy EK 3090 block. Otherwise I would dual My NCase M1. 
My gaming experience looks almost as nasty as a heaven benchmark 3hrs+. (Warzone)

What do you guys think. Is it time to go Shift X or can this be done?

An Impossible ITX Challenge?

Sliger SV590 v2 custom loop - Ryzen 5950X + RTX 3090

For a similar footprint i switched to the sv590. stuck a 360mm rad, a byski pump and cooled both cpu and gpu.

I guess it's time for a new case, H1 AIO died, any suggestions?

It takes up minimal space on the desk but it's cabable of housing a 420mm radiator (I use a 360mm AIO) and the longest GPUs on the market.

I'm on the precipice of joining your ranks, but my biggest obstacle has been deciding on which case I'd want to rock.

Some basics about my build:

* Full gaming guts including full size 30s NVIDIA card

* Can handle the thermals for a game like Rainbow 6 Siege

I'd figure you all have good reasoning for the case you settled on and I'm very curious what points beyond the specs sold you.

What is your favorite case and why?

SV590 v2 is extremely good case for watercooling, it can fit Corsair XR5 420mm radiator and with that can sustain 600w load (3090@450w + 5900x stock) keeping gpu temps sub 60 degrees without being hella noisy. One caveat tho. My 3090 Suprim with EK waterblock didn't fit without modding gpu mount, it was too wide due to protruding waterblock terminal. And current gen cards even wider

I'm currently looking for a new build and am considering some sff options.

The general idea is that I want to use a 7700X (to be upgraded to 3D at a later time) with a 7900XTX.

Options I've been looking at are primarily the NR200P, NR200P MAX, A4-H2O, Evolv shift XT, Sliger SV590 and the Lian Li A3/Dan.

The A4-H20 and Evolv shift XT I've dropped pretty fast because most reviewers seem to agree that a GPU+CPU combo of over 400W is too much to handle for these cases. Especially the Evolv is troubled for the GPU.

The Sliger SV590 I definitely considered, but the very high price and the rather poor GPU thermals made me look elsewhere.

Things get a bit more complicated for the NR200P and NR200P MAX.

The NR200P MAX is an interesting case where you get a PSU and cooler included, but I'm not a fan of the V850 SFX (reportedly noisy) and included watercooler (budget model).

The NR200P on the other hand allows for most versatility, but with that case size I'm still(!) constrained to a max GPU length of 330mm. It feels bad to be hard constrained to that size for a case of that size. Considering some 6950XT cards (similar TDP) can go well beyond 330mm this seems like a bad bet to make.

Using the spreadsheet of this subreddit (it's awesome!) only one case really seems like a suitable option, the Lian Li A3.

Still below 20L, but ample size and support for almost everything. I can even throw in a 360mm rad, sick! Or use M-ATX instead of the terribly overpriced M-ITX options!

However, the issue is that the last case is simply not yet available lol. Big bummer.

Current options: I see 2 real options here, either:

Buying a cheap m-atx case for now and buy the A3 when it comes out.

Pros: 

Get to buy an M-ATX motherboard which has many more connectors for much less.

Cons: 

Have extra case I can't do much with. I do have an old 3200G M-ATX combi which I can retire to my parents perhaps.

Buying components now is risky as it could be that the A3 may not fit the components I'm selecting based on the current thread on sffcomputers. Dan has mentioned a couple times nothing has been set in stone so far.

<del>Edit: I totally missed the Meshroom S, this case practically does all I want as well. Downside, deliveries start on the 16th of December. Considering the 7900XTX is available from the 13th at worst I&#39;m sitting on it for a couple days. However, I&#39;m also reading that AIB models may not be available for a week or 2, meaning this will be a christmas build. Unless I get a crazy deal or suggestions I&#39;ll probably be going for that.</del>
