 Opener works. Okay, not the greatest bottle. Opener opener in the world um but works okay, the knife kind of same deal: it's it's, not the worst, it works and it does actually have it's. Not a chisel grind

 This is something that you could definitely carry in your pocket with this clip that it comes with. I do like that. It comes with a clip. I think that pretty much all leatherman should at least have or multi-tools like this should at least have the option to have a clip um

 So is that something that would be better? If i, you know ground that edge a little bit more acutely myself yeah, but i don't think you should have to do that. I think it should come with an edge ground more like, and here is a good example. I think probably my favorite multi-tool can opener is the victorinox it's ground on both sides. I'Ve used this one a lot as you can see, but it's ground on both sides and it just works really

 It has a primary grind on both sides, but it's you know not the greatest knife out. There it's fine, it works okay, um, but just not as as good as even i would say on something like the leatherman here. This leatherman blade is ground relatively well and works. Well, even though it has a chiseled secondary, grind and definitely nowhere near as good as the blades on a swiss army knife

SOG PowerPint Overview; I Should've Believed the Reviews

Am I alone in my desire for this? As an office worker, I'd kill for a well made, high quality powerpint-esque tool. Can we make this happen?

 The only downsides for me are that it's build quality is mediocre, and the tool inclusions are questionable. For instance, the file is garbage, there's no flat head screwdriver, and there's a seatbelt cutter and awl in place of commonly functional options.

Excellent tool just a little to small

 Then it has a set of wire crimpers on the back here. You can see this this ridging here on. It really allows for a lot of grip, so we're gon na try that out. I got a little piece of this 12 gauge here that we were using and a fastener now

 I really like the compound leverage on this particular multi-tool. I actually really like that wire crimper. Now this is not a tool that I would necessarily think of when having wire crimping functionality, but the fact that it has it on there. I wish more manufacturers and multi-tools put in a wire crimper like this

 That is just an outstanding crimper. I love the way that works now. Maybe it might not work as well in other multi tools that don't have SOGs compound leverage, but it was it just really bit into that electrical connection extremely well, and I really can't say enough about how well that worked. The wire cutting capability on this is very, very good as well, for the soft wire cutting has decent pliers for the main pliers, but the needle nose or another thing that come down there to a really nice point, and is another thing that I like about this Multi-Tool now I'm going to tell you I'm not the biggest proponent of SOG multi-tools because of their Chinese manufacturing

 It really allows for a lot of grip, so we're gon na try that out. I got a little piece of this 12 gauge here that we were using and a fastener now. One thing that I will say is that there's not a lot of surface area there. So you really have to jam it in there to get it to to crimp over, but those that pattern of teeth on there really allow you to grip onto that, and that made a pretty good connection that made a better connection than some larger multi tools that I'Ve seen and you can kind of see how that patterned out in there with that the teeth pattern really grips it very firmly and that's actually a really solid electrical connection, for you know for a repair job

 Okay. So if i use this in conjunction with the sog power pint, i'm going to come in nice and close on this, because i kind of have to demonstrate it's nice and solid. This way see if i can get a focus here. Where are you there? You are, but if you put it in this way, it's not going to work, it's got to go in this way

 These brad point augers this little mini set you're going to see that down there too, and i'm going to come across this in a minute and um. That'S pretty much it. Let'S put on the red light, see what that looks like. Oh, i like that

 Is the quarter inch bit driver with the magnets, or does it have the magnets? Maybe it doesn't oh yeah. It does i got to zoom in i'm thinking the power assist or something like that. There'S one there's the magnet right there and is there a second one? No, i would have liked to see that two magnets in there, but can't have everything so primary use. My primary use on this on the bench is in conjunction with these bits that i have and the extension so like you like most of you, you're, always tinkering and you're always cleaning

 Gripper - very good - nice sharp grinds on the gripping surfaces 9. Hex Bit Driver (1/4") - very good - holds standard 1/4" bits with a small magnet 10. Jewelry Driver - excellent - very nicely ground, but too large for eye glasses 11. Line Cutter - very good - nice and sharp 12

Terrific idea and design, implementation not so good

Considering its small size, the SOG PowerPint is surprisingly capable; lots of reviews on YouTube praising it.

I hear a lot about Leatherman, but I don't work in a field where I need something "hardcore". I'm just an average lady with a couple sons who might like something compact with common tools at hand. Been considering a Gerber Truss. Just looking for feedback on that or other options. Thanks in advance!
