Alright, so the evening is concluding and so is our review of the A7 3 and I Guess what? I Want you guys to take home from this?

It's become clear that the A7C overheats shooting 4K24/4K30 around the 1:20 or 1:30 mark. This is not even recording continuously, it's just having the camera turned on (for CamLink output or b-roll) that long at a time. I wanted to see if this "issue" lines up with what the A7C is capable of. I do video work for a living, so I am considering selling my A7 III and getting an A7S III as my main video shooter.

Unfortunately, it isn't weather-sealed, so you may be less inclined to take it out on hikes in adverse weather conditions. It doesn't have the most intuitive menu system either, with its more advanced settings buried within confusing submenus and no touchscreen navigation. Despite its flaws, however, this is still one of the best cameras for photographers who shoot a lot of landscapes, and it's versatile enough for other types of photography, too

I have felt recently that the Sony A7 III makes photography a bit much of a machinery, as much to get the desired result requires quite a bit of post-editing. I am therefore wondering, if anyone has had both a full frame mirrorless camera and a Fujifilm X-mount camera of this generation and how big difference they are in image quality? Is a transition something you could recommend?

That said, while it's a well-constructed camera, it isn't weather-sealed, which is bad news if you want to shoot in more adverse weather conditions. Its menu system also isn't the most intuitive, and you can't use the touchscreen to navigate it. Still, if you're looking for a relatively affordable full-frame camera for landscape photography, this is a great choice

I hate the clunky touch screen, that doesn't let you do anything other than zoom in on pictures, crazy battery drain, and worst of all, the pictures it produces. Idk if it's the camera or the lenses, but I have it for a week and didn't like a single picture I took. On my Canon 90D I was amazed by just how good the pictures were, and a lot of the time didn't even do any editing, because they were so good straight out of the camera. As everyone seem to absolutely love Sony A7 III and trash DSLRs, am I crazy or is this the most overhyped camera of all time?.
