So my final thoughts with this Sony X90J is that I love it. It is still one of my favourite TVs and it is an improvement over last year's X900H.

And that's really hard to say having been so high on the X90H, but I'm just not excited.

But as our review states, it works without issues on the X90J.

Personally, I plan on returning this unit too, and maybe ponying up getting a "mid-range" OLED or possibly the budget Sony x90j. i WANT to love this tv. for $1000 its not bad, but at the same time that's a thhhhhousand dollars. maybe you are in a position where that kind of money isn't that big of a deal to you, but to me, it makes me feel ripped off.

The main difference is that the X90J has a better local dimming feature, resulting in less blooming around bright objects, meaning the overall picture quality is better on the X90J. However, if you're a gamer, the X90K is the better choice and has a wider 1080p VRR range.

I really do like a lot of what this tv does. And I got it on sale for 860 so for that price you really can't beat it. But looking back with the knowledge I have now, I probably would have just spent a bit more and gone with a Sony X90J or an LG A1.
