It looks fine if a bit clunky, sounds decent but somewhat muddled, and has active noise cancellation technology that isn't quite up to par. Is it worth it to upgrade to InZone H9 from the XM4?

If you're going wired on audio and already use a wired microphone, there's no reason to get an XM5 at all, nor an XM4, nor an Inzone H9. Nothing from Sony is worth purchasing for this purpose. It's just overpriced and extremely subpar for the intended purpose. You'd be better off investing the money (and it'll only cost about 1/3 the price of XM5s) into something by virtually ANY studio reference brand.

ANC is good. Sound quality is good. Comfort is good. Mic is bad. Mic is permanently attached. Volume is too low. Spatial Sound is ok. Not compatible with Windows Spatial Sound. Software functions.
