Smart Home Sounds

 This is pretty basic, but effective, so you'll want to tell it, whether it's wall-mounted or on a stand, it's going to emit some sounds through the TV, which are picked up by your remote's microphone, and then voila, your audio is calibrated. Now, this is just for the onboard TV sound. You would not necessarily use this if you were using a sound bar or even one of Sony's own audio systems. And then we get to this Samba TV thing, which I always skip

 I do have an antenna connected because, again, I want to take a look at some of the next gen TV offerings in my area, so we'll auto scan for channels and then move forward. This is where, if you have devices plugged into the HDMI ports and turned on, the Sony will, to an extent, auto detect them. In this case, it didn't recognize the cable box, so I had to tell it it was a cable box, but it did recognize our Sony Blu-ray player and our Xbox Series X. Yes, I said Xbox

 This is where you're going to have to pay attention to privacy stuff, how much information you want to give to Google and to Sony. From there, if you have a cable box or antenna or both, you'll set that up here.  You will be signed into some of your apps, like YouTube, for instance. With Netflix, it's going to take a couple of clicks to get into your account. All the apps that you like will be there, and all of the recommendations for content that you enjoy will be there, but there's still a little bit of hunting and pecking with a remote control in order to finish this process

 So we're gonna be covering a close-up look at the design, its specification, its gaming capabilities, sound quality and comparisons with the model below from Sony, the X90J, the model above the A80J and Samsung's QN90A and much more. Sony X95J Review: Should you forget about OLED?

 It's mostly a cosmetic upgrade over the previous Android TV interface, but it's still fairly easy to use and runs smoothly. Unfortunately there are ads throughout the home screen with no option on the TV to disable them. The sound of this TV is decent and about typical of many TVs. It has a digital room correction feature that helps to tune the frequency response to best suit your room acoustics and produce clear sound, but it's limited overall by the lack of bass

 This is one area that Sony TVs tend to stand out, and the X95J is no exception. The performance is really excellent, with very little noticeable banding. There's also a smooth gradation feature to further reduce banding in the source content and it works well. Overall, Sony TVs are generally well known for their processing features, so this is no surprise

Sony X95J 4k TV Review - Best local dimming TV? (XR-65X95J, XR-75X95J, XR-85X95J)

 Personally, I don't like that. I much rather have control over that. So I just switch it off and it looks so much better. The sound from this TV is honestly one of the best ones I heard from any other TV, but obviously a lot of you guys are going to connect either a soundbar or maybe your receiver with your Dolby Atmos, which by the way, this TV does support Dolby Atmos as well

 So you're going to get faster response time and lower input lag, which is great. Oh my goodness. Oh my God. The remote controller

 Then we have port number two, which is regular 2.0, and then we have one USB port. Right here on the side, we have the remote in, we also have audio and video in, and also we have the port so we can use this TV as a center speaker and headphone jack. We have an additional two USB ports, HDMI port number one, and also an on and off switch for the built-in microphone

 So this time I got my hands on the brand new Sony X95J. This is the 65 inch version and it comes packed with the brand new XR processor, also known as the cognitive processor from Sony, which enhances colors and it comes closer to the human eye vision. So let's see if this TV is actually worth your money. Welcome to the channel guys

Sony X95J Should you buy it.?

 They could make it a bit smaller, but what I really wished for was the same backlit remote that the Sony A90J Master Series OLED has. It just seems logical to me that the top 4k TVs in both OLED and LED would have that nice remote. I mean really all the TVs should have this remote, but you can order it online if you want for $80, and I'd do that because the backlight comes in handy in a dark room. But is this TV even good for dark rooms? Let's turn it on and find out

 The remote for the Sony X95J is nearly identical to last year's remote. Only a couple of the app buttons are different, but Sony offers the same long skinny Bluetooth remote. They could make it a bit smaller, but what I really wished for was the same backlit remote that the Sony A90J Master Series OLED has. It just seems logical to me that the top 4k TVs in both OLED and LED would have that nice remote
