 It does annoy me and again might seem trivial to some but you know if you're going to be using earphones on a daily basis you will find that to be annoying especially if you're going to put this in a bag or your pocket you'll find that a flat might come undone undone every now and then. In terms of battery life now these earphones have a quarter 20 hours battery life it's very much your mileage may vary I've noticed you know over about a week I didn't have to charge them which was fantastic but again depending on how you interact with them and how what volume you have them playing at it will you know you might get more or you might get less but around 20 hours is what you should expect. In terms of bluetooth range I had no problems in terms of bluetooth synchronization with my android device yet again no problems no lip sync issues of any sort. What I did again kind of slightly disappointed but somewhat expected as price range is the fact that bluetooth codec is limited to AAC and SBC codec only

 Hi guys, Sallidabz here and today I'm doing a video review on the Soundmagic E11BT. Now in this review I'll be comparing the E11BT to their wired variants, the E11C which I've got in my hands over here and also referencing the Rockjaw T5s which are their new wireless earphones. Now the E11BT come in at £70 whilst the wired variants come for £40 without a microphone and £50 so you've got a slight little premium for that wireless connectivity. Now also in this review I'll be referencing the E10BT and the E10 wired variants which are its predecessors

 I would have liked aptX I don't expect aptX HD or LDAC but nevertheless it would have been nice to see aptX kind of included so you are limited to AAC codec which is perfectly acceptable but does limit sort of sound quality in in comparison to like a wired alternative or one that does have aptX codec that's drivers aside but now let's speak about those drivers it's still 10 10 millimeter dynamic drivers which feature in the E11 wired however they have a different sort of sound signature and even if you look at soundmagic's website you'll notice like the frequency range between the two actually does very well the E11 wired has a slightly deeper and a longer sort of extension in that frequency range from the the bass and even the highs so when I looked at that I was like quite intrigued in terms of specs but then when I got them in you know putting specs aside you know big specs only do go so far I did notice a difference between the two and that's not only just due to due to the bluetooth technology which can degrade quality over wired but it was also just due to the dynamic dynamism it just didn't sound as like dynamic as I wanted in comparison to the E11 wired variant so in this respect comparing the two earphones I found that the E11 wired had just a little bit more control and just felt a little bit more dynamic it's the best way I can explain it I wouldn't say clear but or clearer it's more the fact it just sounds a little bit more exciting to my ears and no matter the volume I push them at and yes they get perfectly loud so don't worry you can crank them up really loud I just found that the E11 wired variant just sounded that little bit better by comparing it to the E10 so the E10 BT and E10 wired variants these are definitely a progression in a good respect they sound a lot less muddy and they sound a little bit more controlled especially in the mid-range and somewhat same sort of comments I had about the E11s over the E10s the wired variants I felt that these just sounded just a little bit more refined so now let's go into the individual sound frequencies of the E11 BT so the E11 BT starting with a bass you do get a sub bass extension but it's very faint it's not really extended and doesn't give you that some some some sort of rumble it's definitely not as in your face or as like capable as the rock jaws but overall the E11 BT do a good job in terms of the mid-bass again it is controlled it's very much subdued very much like the E11s I think these are very much equivalent in that mid-bass frequency compared to the rock jaw which sound extremely in your face and overly forwards so much sort of kind of dominating with the mid-bass frequencies the E11 BT do a good job in terms of providing that little bit more control and cohesion in the mid-bass frequencies moving to the mids now the lower mids are actually pretty nice they sound a lot better than the rock jaws but do sound a little bit more recessed over the E11 wired the upper mids here again a little bit struggled over the E11s but a lot better than the rock jaws so in somewhat the mid-range was good and at this price range it's somewhat to be expected but nothing to shout about the highs do extend roll off at the top end kind of to be expected yet again with all the ones that I've got in front of me but do provide a nice sort of spark and sort of tonality soundstage good in terms of instrument separation it sounded really nice and yes it does lack that dynamism but it does still provide that sort of instrument separation and that width and depth that I really liked about the E11 wired variant so overall the sound quality is actually good it's for the price it's to be kind of expected but over the E11 wired I would have preferred the wired given especially the cheaper and if you don't mind a wire dangling that's what I'd recommend over the rock jaw over its competitors I would say it's a good alternative it's not the best under 100 pounds but it's definitely up there with one I would recommend personally the best under 100 pounds if you could if you could afford it which is exactly 100 pounds would be the one plus bullets wireless 2 which to me really kind of hit the sweet spot in terms of sound signature so there we go guys that's my honest opinion let me know in comments below what you think and as I said before check in the description below for all the links and if you have any questions and all its competitors and if you can make sure you like comment subscribe favorite share helps the channel grow and lets me continue giving you unbiased unpaid reviews all right guys I've been Tony Dubbed take care and buh-bye.

SoundMagic E11BT review - The wireless E11 earphones

 Won't turn on, won't charge at all. That stupid light probably just wore the battery out completely. $40 and it only lasted 4 months - what a disappointment.

Long battery life, short product life

 Wow. These earphones are AAC compatible, which is great news for both Apple and Android users. There's no aptX compatibility. However, like aptX, the AAC codec will transmit your music in CD-like 16-bit audio quality

 Overall, I can confidently say that these are the best Bluetooth earphones going at this price point, and possibly even under £100. Their sound quality, technology, design and comfort are normally associated with more expensive models. The Soundmagic E11BT should be top of your list when you're looking for a new Bluetooth earphone. I hope you enjoyed this video

 I've also found out that with general use, battery life lasts and lasts and lasts and lasts. The manual states that you can expect between 48 and 60 hours of continuous playback, and from my experience with the E11BT, this seems to be pretty accurate. Wow. These earphones are AAC compatible, which is great news for both Apple and Android users

Best Bluetooth Buds Under £100?? SoundMAGIC E11BT ...

They sound great, but they only lasted about 3 months. It started right after the return period expired. One earbud went out first, not a big deal, I’ll use them in one ear only. Then a week ago both earbuds went out

 If you want cheap earbuds with great sound quality that won’t last more than 2 months, get these earbuds.

 I tried unpairing and pairing again with my phone, then with another one. Same thing. If you want cheap earbuds with great sound quality that won’t last more than 2 months, get these earbuds.

Great sound, they died after 2 months of use

 So what do we get in the box, so we get obviously the headphones and everything like that, so we get six in-ear buds, these are like the silicone bits, so if you've got really big earlobes or medium or small, they've got you covered because two of them will be on there anyway and I think the two on there are medium, so you've got two small and two large in the bag and then talk about bags, we get a bag to obviously put this in, it's got Soundmagic written on the front there, I think that looks pretty cool, the patch looks really soft, it's not really tough and it hasn't got that metal clasp thing and it'll cut your leg open in order, it's just a string tie bag, that's alright, that's pretty cool and then we've got a cable which is just a decent length and this is going to be able to charge your in-ear phones, micro USB, USB 2, so you can obviously do that and then you've got your manual there as well, the E11BT and it's in different languages anyway, let's have a little read through it, so dynamics, 10mm neodymium, so that's a new thing, transmission range as I said is up to 13 metres away, independence is 42, over 10% in independence, mic sensitivity is 42 over 3 decibels, so we're going to be testing it for obviously making phone calls and accepting it and see if we can cut it off and all that, continuous playback music, 48 over 60h, continuous talktime, 20 to 24 hours, so standby time is 208 hours and the weight is 25 grams so it's not going to be too heavy, it won't fall out of your ears, ambient temperature is 20 degrees to 60 degrees, do we really need to know that? Okay, alright so that's that, let's pair it up on my phone, got a Note 9, alright so we've got the neck band, we're going to take it out, I'm going to try not to damage it, alright so there we go, I'm pulling it out, this packaging feels a little bit cheaper than what they normally go with but as you can see it's got like these little cannons and it feels really soft to touch, it feels like it's going to stain your ears if you put them in, it plugs really right in, it's got like this grill on the front, really tiny, that keeps it nice and kind of clean, kind of, to make sure your ears are clean, anyway it's got the little logo on the back for the magic logo, what's it got on the other one? It's got the 11BT written on the back there so this is the right one, this is the left one, they do feel alright, they don't feel too bad, you've got this rubber texture on the top there, for plus and minus, so minus meaning your volume goes down and skipping tracks, I think the plus would be skipping forward and then obviously volume up and then you've got hang up and obviously a menu button that you can do things and set your phone up to be your assistant so that's how it goes and then obviously on the side there is a mini micro USB connector that goes on the side there to keep it charged, got a neck band right here so I'm just going to put it on, there's some Spotify music and see how we get on and as you can see I've been caught up in a tangle moment where it's magnetic so you can have it magnetic and connect to your neck like that as well, now I've just got to put these in the right ear so this is the right ear so you put it on like so and then it kind of warms to the touch of your neck so it felt cold at first touch and then it starts to feel warm, starts to blend in, you're meant to be able to forget it's even on your neck because it's made of rubber it's kind of like it's not meant to move and if it does move then it's a bit of a problem. So as I was saying once you put the neck band on it's to stop it from moving like from left and right, it's to keep it into position so just make sure you've got it in position, when you've got jogging bottoms on, t-shirts, shirts and all that sort of stuff it'll feel really nice and it won't move about. I've done quite a few reviews of these little over the neck headphones quite a few years ago so leave a link in the description down below so you can check them out as well and yeah let's plug them in and let's listen to Spotify. Overall aesthetics as well definitely give it an 8 out of 10

 Price is definitely alright, it's not too bad and the instructions are fairly simple to use. If you've got any problems go into the back of the manual and you'll see it plus it's in different languages. Plus you get a bag and you get a USB connector. What more can you want?  This will set you back at £69.99 on Amazon, which I'll leave a link in the description down below, if you want to go and purchase these, but yeah we're going to get these out and then obviously listen to it and also apparently you can go up to 13 metres away in obviously sound quality and then obviously it cuts out, but oh, let me show you the packaging quickly, so you just open it up like that, it's like a little heart and everything like that, it's pretty cool anyway, yeah, look at that, anyway, close that right up. So what do we get in the box, so we get obviously the headphones and everything like that, so we get six in-ear buds, these are like the silicone bits, so if you've got really big earlobes or medium or small, they've got you covered because two of them will be on there anyway and I think the two on there are medium, so you've got two small and two large in the bag and then talk about bags, we get a bag to obviously put this in, it's got Soundmagic written on the front there, I think that looks pretty cool, the patch looks really soft, it's not really tough and it hasn't got that metal clasp thing and it'll cut your leg open in order, it's just a string tie bag, that's alright, that's pretty cool and then we've got a cable which is just a decent length and this is going to be able to charge your in-ear phones, micro USB, USB 2, so you can obviously do that and then you've got your manual there as well, the E11BT and it's in different languages anyway, let's have a little read through it, so dynamics, 10mm neodymium, so that's a new thing, transmission range as I said is up to 13 metres away, independence is 42, over 10% in independence, mic sensitivity is 42 over 3 decibels, so we're going to be testing it for obviously making phone calls and accepting it and see if we can cut it off and all that, continuous playback music, 48 over 60h, continuous talktime, 20 to 24 hours, so standby time is 208 hours and the weight is 25 grams so it's not going to be too heavy, it won't fall out of your ears, ambient temperature is 20 degrees to 60 degrees, do we really need to know that? Okay, alright so that's that, let's pair it up on my phone, got a Note 9, alright so we've got the neck band, we're going to take it out, I'm going to try not to damage it, alright so there we go, I'm pulling it out, this packaging feels a little bit cheaper than what they normally go with but as you can see it's got like these little cannons and it feels really soft to touch, it feels like it's going to stain your ears if you put them in, it plugs really right in, it's got like this grill on the front, really tiny, that keeps it nice and kind of clean, kind of, to make sure your ears are clean, anyway it's got the little logo on the back for the magic logo, what's it got on the other one? It's got the 11BT written on the back there so this is the right one, this is the left one, they do feel alright, they don't feel too bad, you've got this rubber texture on the top there, for plus and minus, so minus meaning your volume goes down and skipping tracks, I think the plus would be skipping forward and then obviously volume up and then you've got hang up and obviously a menu button that you can do things and set your phone up to be your assistant so that's how it goes and then obviously on the side there is a mini micro USB connector that goes on the side there to keep it charged, got a neck band right here so I'm just going to put it on, there's some Spotify music and see how we get on and as you can see I've been caught up in a tangle moment where it's magnetic so you can have it magnetic and connect to your neck like that as well, now I've just got to put these in the right ear so this is the right ear so you put it on like so and then it kind of warms to the touch of your neck so it felt cold at first touch and then it starts to feel warm, starts to blend in, you're meant to be able to forget it's even on your neck because it's made of rubber it's kind of like it's not meant to move and if it does move then it's a bit of a problem. So as I was saying once you put the neck band on it's to stop it from moving like from left and right, it's to keep it into position so just make sure you've got it in position, when you've got jogging bottoms on, t-shirts, shirts and all that sort of stuff it'll feel really nice and it won't move about

 That is why the 3 stars. Since I used for audio books the missing 2 - 3 words is not a killer so decided not to return. The claimed 20hrs battery life is about right for my use and was the main reason I chose this wireless in ear earphone.

Sound drop off periodically

I genuinely have nothing positive to say about them. They function, the battery lasts as long as advertised, and they aren't heavy. Unfortunately the sound quality isn't great and they constantly slip out of my ears even when sitting completely still.

"It works" is the highest praise these buds get.

Great all-around earbuds, works well with iPhones, one stupid design flaw

I bought these to replace my E10s, and decided to bite the bullet on going Bluetooth despite not completely needing it at the time.

They sound great, and have a freakishly long battery life. Past Bluetooth headphones would last about a day or less, these IEMs last me about 2.5 days of constant use. I was a bit put off by the neck band initially, but it's easily concealed into a collar so I ended up preferring it that way

Bluetooth can be flaky- Doesn't support APTX and every so often sound would just be cut off for 1-2s. It's not often enough I'd return them, but it does happen.

Amazing budget bluetooth IEMs; died in 4 months

- After charging, I lose my Bluetooth connection, requiring me to resync the device (don’t know if this is a user error or a design flaw)

- Solid noise isolation (not 100% cancellation, and you can’t toggle on/off, but fairly good at this price point)

I spent a lot of time looking for a good pair of noise-isolating Bluetooth earphones that had the around-the-neck design. So far, I very much enjoy these. They are not perfect, but I couldn’t stand those “higher-end” ones pushed by certain phone brands.
